I always knew that at some point, when the liberal ideology became mainstream, those who like to set themselves apart as rebels, would rebel against it. It's no longer "cool" to be a liberal because everyone's doing it. Now the "cool" people are rejecting the left. They might not join the right, but they are rejecting the left. I hope it keeps snowballing until there is no stopping it.

There are Bill Clinton speeches on illegal aliens from the 90s that sound like something Trump would almost blush to say.

The left has moved so far that some people just can't follow that far.

Thankfully most of their ideological posistions are nearly indefensible in the real wold where most of us actually live, so I think smarter /less purely emotional people will peel off as they keep trending further and further left.
