High profile companies absolutely comb social media for mentions. They try to stay ahead of rumors and leaks.
We’ve had a few employees disciplined over social media posts that inadvertently revealed confidential information. |

On the whole, LP is a pretty big evangelist for Kia, so it wouldn't be surprising if corporate was aware. Maybe the have automated searches to pick up Kia mentions on social media and other online content and he showed up. Or ARFCOM covers such a large swath of the world that we have a member that happens to work for Kia corporate and has alerted on their efforts directly. Probably not hard to back track who he is from their side.
It seems he also goes the extra mile for customers in an industry where many don't or cut corners to make a buck. This thread might be his back channel "you've got another fuel line recall coming" message if stuff going up from dealerships is subject to heavy-handed filtering. Also, uh, corporate, if you really are there, I've sold several of my friends and coworkers on Kia after I defected from Dodge and GM products. I think a Stinger GT2 in blue would be an appropriate thank you. |

Well I was going to welcome back OP, but he appears to have left

I think our resident Kia technician has become a revolutionary.
Have you spotted something that potentially needs a recall notice and corporate is turning a blind eye? If that is the case... Fight the Good Fight |

In the next few days you might hear further up the food chain what I have done, you might ask why did this dude spend $128.36 of his own money to replace this part for a customers car that is not covered by warrenty because of the circumstances involved? yet still gets it stamped to send it back to us? Simple, you need to see it, it will all make sense then Eta, in case you guys do not know, Kia knows I exist here. View Quote |

Well, that's one way to eat cotton candy.
Well, seeing as how we got corporates attention. How about commencing development work on a pickup truck? Preferably with a Diesel engine. Something that could compete with a Toyota Hilux. |

Attention Burger King corporate lurker: Today I ordered a 10 piece Chicken Tender and only received one BBQ sauce with it. Normally I get two sauces. I am very upset and I believe that I am owed an extra sauce the next time I visit one of your establishments.
PS. I know that you know who I am. |

So you spent 2 days wages on some unknown person's car? You indeed are the noblest of noble.

Are these the normal Koreans you're talking about or the Red Dawn 2012 Koreans? Should we be worried about form 4473?

I've been working on vehicles about 30 years, worked in repair shops, auto body shops, transmission shops, and I've never seen so much drama as this dealership working on relatively new, cheap, econo-boxes.
