Just seems a lot of people around here are only ok with breaking laws they don't like. When someone breaks a law they do like, they get all high and mighty. Malum prohibidum versus malum in se Most of the laws that are BS are the former, though many of those laws are important.

If you guys in CO manage to wholesale oust these anti-gun pols, that along with the recalls will ensure that CO poiticians in the future will associate gun control with job loss.

Rhonda has nothing to worry about as far as her job is concerned but one of the big reasons for GOP votes in CO was the gun laws. It pissed off everyone. I was very much a one topic voter this time around.
My gut tells me we will get rid of the mag ban if things go the right way within a year or two. Background checks and the 10.00 fee will prob stay.

Oh, Rhonda.
Rhonda, Rhonda, Rhonda. If only you and your ilk had listened to your constituents... |

Title should be, "Colorado mag ban WIN" Why? The state is missing out on tons of revenue, and it's destroying jobs. How many Magpul employees that can't make the move for whatever reason are now going to be out looking for work, maybe doing something that doesn't pay as well or that they don't love as much? I don't know the number, but presumably it's one or more. Meanwhile, what good will it do? Will it even save "just one life?" Highly doubtful. So it's a net burden on the people of Colorado. IOW, it's a bad law, based solely on its effects, and that's without even getting into civil rights and whether it's a just law or not. Maryland kicked Beretta out, among other manufacturers. We lost somewhere around 1000 jobs just from that one company. Meanwhile, what good is it going to do? None whatsoever. But, anybody who works for a gun manufacturer probably votes Republican, so if we can kick them out, all the better for our politicians. Which is what's really important here. That has already been hashed out here time and time again, and I 100% agree with you. But to see people out there blatantly ignoring the law or even better, giving it the finger, puts a smile on my face. Yes. Two entirely different discussions here. |

Yup, couldn't believe my eyes! I LOVE the fact that this is happening. Fukk 'em.
I was in a certain Front Range store, picked one up and brought it to the front desk.. I asked "Ok, what's the deal?" The kid said, "What you are holding there sir is a fully assembled parts kit." I could've kissed him. Fuck them! |
