At the hospital with my wife who's being induced.
Just as the anesthesiologist is finishing and taping up the epideral The power goes out and the generator does not kick on the lights or monitors in the room. After a long awkward pause by the nurse and anesthesiologist they go searching for a light to Finish taping her up while they wait for the power or generator to work properly. Had a flashlight handy for both of them  DR got my surefire and nurse got my old mini Mag lite I keep on the outside of my bag.
This situation just justified all my "weird Rambo-ness" to my MIL. 
Been here since 5 am yesterday...back to waiting (lights came back as I typed this) |
