"They don't have open borders as an island."

The UK gets thousands of illegal immigrants that cross the channel in small boats.

1300 on August 22 alone.

Once the illegals get there, they get treated to hotels, then long term housing, welfare, etc.

They also hide in semi trucks that go through the Chunnel.  I saw one video where the guy found them in the back of his truck in France and tells them they are in England and they are so happy.  Lol.

The UK has peaked - no doubt about that.

To describe it as socialist is misleading. It does have some leftist policies but overall is still capitalist.

The numbers and influence of Muslims is grossly overrated by alarmist media stories who pretend that muslim ghettos are a reflection of the whole country.

The US is not far behind. Hopefully the US will learn from UK mistakes ( deliberate in my opinion ) on immigration.

Learn?

The only learning to be done are more effective ways to propagandize it to all the dumb dipshits who won't see it enough to give up their virtue-signaling idiocy until it's too late. This is as intentional here as it is there, and we're all too busy navel-gazing or tilting at windmills or being stuck under the boot of our post-9/11 security apparatus to do anything about it.

Agreed. And many returned during Brexit.

But as already mentioned - lots of dubious statistics out there - the " Mohammed being #1 baby name in UK" and top 10 baby names being Muslim.

Immigration IS a problem but the extent of that problem depends on the source of your news.

Rather like whether you get your news about the Mexican border from Fox or CNN.

Your attachment indicates that of the top sources of immigration only one is has significant Muslim numbers ( Pakistan ) and is less than Polish immigration to UK.

That’s why I caveated whether India’s minority population which has a higher birth rate than the Hindus would immigrate or not. Much of isis - K in Afghanistan are now Muslims from India. I think Bangladesh is in the UK top 10 but towards the bottom of inmigrants. Italy and Spain are struggling to mitigate illegal migration from Africa. Even South Korea has 100,000 illegal immigrants who work construction. Japan is going to take in some Ukrainian refugees. Maybe only Iceland, Mongolia and the poles are not having some immigration impact legal or illegal

Exactly.  Here is an interview of a man who lived in the 1800's.  The part that applies to your post starts at 1:19. He talks about, how at that time, "Britannia ruled the waves. It didn't occur to us that that might stop."

It migrates. But it definitely brings death and destruction in its wake. It's been refitted with a new face.

It looks like the current world leaders like Biden were invited to attend the Queen's funeral in England.

Trump and other previous Presidents were invited to attend a memorial service in Washington DC.

UK Population around 68 Million.

They face similar issues as the USA: Declining native birth rate, increasing over age 65 population, increasing migration from third world countries, ethnic/tribal (cultural) diversity, and others.

They are facing a loss of Christian beliefs with an increase in Muslim and other beliefs.

They have a socialist system including healthcare.

They don't have open borders as an island.

They appear to have a higher inflation rate and worse economic problems then the rest of Europe.

Is the UK done, beyond the point of redemption?

Have they passed the point of returning to a better economy and culture, like the USA?

Are they positioned similar to the US, worse, or better?

Does the monarchy harm them?

Socialism harm them?

Is the UK no longer a good ally to the USA?

Only solutions I can see are -

1. Secure the borders.
2. Only allow immigrants who will fully integrate.

How to assess and police # 2 is a can of worms.

The top 10 baby names in UK are all Muslim names. The numbers are not grossly overestimated. The country is 25%+ foreigners, with extremely high birth rates, while native population birth rate is below replacement. The country will be Muslim majority/native minority by 2050.
View Quote

Literally all of that is wrong.

Of the top 10 male baby names in the UK, Mohammad comes in at #5.....chiefly because every other boy born to a Muslim family tends to get named Mohammed (or some version of Mohammed, which are all combined into the one category).

Total foreign-born residents of the UK make up about 12% of the UK's population.....and that's everyone from Texans to Norwegians to people fresh off the boat from Hindustan and Angola.

80% of the population is White British, with another 10% being some form of European (lots of Poles, for instance).  Non-White groups, all up, constitute ~10% of the population, and that's everyone from (in terms of ethnicity) Pakistani to Indian to Chinese to Black.

Second Generation Asians and Blacks also tend to follow Native TFRs....and have much smaller families.

So...the Emirate of England is a couple centuries off, at current rates.

Again, those figures of Muslims and foreign born are only the legal permanent immigrants. It does not count the millions (maybe 10s millions) of “temporary” immigrants, “asylum seekers”,  and illegal immigrants.

Honestly I don’t know. Lot of people pouring in, but exactly how many? These days it’s hard to know what’s legit coming from .Gov or the media. I assume distrust of those institutions is the case whether it’s on this side or your side of the pond. Seems to me the regular people everywhere are getting fucked over and leadership is lacking & or not championing those they’re supposed to represent {overall - some exceptions} Either way the US / UK partnership has been solid ever since the end of the war of 1812 and I hope both nations get their shit together, continue trading business - I watch some of the UK surfing channels to see what’s happening over there and it’s neat to see California surfboards on British waves and I buy a some of my motorcycle gear from the UK or from US distributors for UK companies and I hope we can continue as allies. I had a great time and was treated very well both times that I was attached to the British Army. My ex wife hated my time in the military but the only 2 times she was ever happy was at Fort Drum, NY and over in the UK. Anyway, cheers
