1st Helo flight was in a HH 43 Husky (call sign Pedro) at Williams AFB sometimes in the early 70's. I was an Air Traffic Controller and my buddy was the mechanic for it and he got me a ride when it was on a training flight. It was a cool ride along but it's a pretty weird aircraft.

Pic taken off the internet.

2nd was a Kawasaki BK 117 C-1, we took a tour from Milford Sound to Queenstown N.Z. with a landing on Korako Glacier it was very cool.

The only one (as an adult) I have flown in was a Hughes TH-55 which was set up as a stunt helicopter.

I went to an airshow on the media day after getting an invite through work and had a short flight. And that pilot did some interesting stunts I was not aware at the time small helicopters could even do.

My parents have told me I rode in a Huey when I was very young and my dad was in the National Guard, but I have absolutely no memories of that.

ETA: the TH-55 flight was nearly 30 years ago and was in this helicopter :

I was an H-1 mech/crew in the Marines and worked on the following;

AH-1W SuperCobra
UH-1Y Huey
AH-1Z Viper

Front seating in the AH-1W will forever be my all-time favorite aviation flight. I flew in the UH-1Y countless times and it was usually fun, especially when ordnance was loaded. I worked on the AH-1Z but never got a chance to fly in it. It’s a nasty, lethal helicopter that flies much faster and carries way more ordnance, but it doesn’t have the 2 blade “womp womp” effect or nostalgia of the legacy whiskey.

I got to fly in a V-22 Osprey once and it was actually really cool. They take a lot of shit but they are neat aircraft.

I flew in the CH-53E a few times and I hate those things with a passion. They are enormous, powerful helicopters. But I hate em. Everything is covered in black soot and hydraulic fluid. They are also obnoxiously loud.

ETA:

Currently working for a commercial airline as an A&P. The pay is excellent but it’s a rather boring job. Eventually I’d like to get in with a medevac or forestry service and go back to working on helicopters. Nothing beats rotorcraft.

Got a low level open door flight at Ft Ord once on a Huey, lot of fun for my first time in a helo.  Got one landing in a UH-60.  But lots of time in CH-53s with probably half as many landings as takeoffs.  Lots more memories and fun.  Wet SPIE, fast roping, rappelling and static line jumps; later flying around Iraq in 2003.

I was a pogue in the Army. Our M1114 was destroyed by an IED and the Marine QRF was nice enough to offer our crew a free ride back to Al Asad. The Marines were always awesome and treated us well every chance they got.

This is my favorite, but love 60s, 47s, and 53s.  I've had plenty of rides in all of them, but am partial to the Killer Egg for obvious reasons.  60s will always have a place in my heart - 2 Dust Off rides.    53s because they were my first rides.  47s because they're just badass sky pick up trucks.

Sure, the helo was stunning.  But more stunning was the ER nurse that recognised a very rare condition, the pilot, and the surgeon.  Little guy was on death's door on Monday, and running around like before on Thursday.

On one IFR flight we did in a UH-1, we flew at 10k feet, in the clouds. You want to know terrifying, it's that.  0 visibility, max altitude allowed without oxygen, marginal cabin heat and a max airspeed of something like 80 knots because the air is so thin that retreating blade stall happens at a very low airspeed. When you start approaching max airspeed, the aircraft begins to shake...violently, as the retreating blade loses lift and the advancing blade gets all the load.

I've ridden on dozens and dozens of simulated engine failures all the way to the ground (auto rotations).

I've flown dead bodies off the DMZ in South Korea.

I've shot M-60's out of both Hueys and Blackhawks.

I have an hour or two of stick time in a Huey (unrecorded, of course).

I've flown 100 feet over the streetlights on the Key Bridge heading into DC, landed at the Pentagon, flown to "contingency sites" with full bird colonels stuffed in the gunner's well because they were the lowest ranking pax on my aircraft.

Once in Korea, a UH60 lost one of its stowed door-guns (M60) off the side of the aircraft on a cross country flight and didn't notice until they landed.  Turned into a multi-day field exercise to basically "FOD Walk" their flight path looking for it.  It was never found.

Good times...good times.

That's a hard question because of memories.

Doors open Huey, cranking and banking below tree tops following a random river?

Chasing moose in a Chinook in Alaska?

Blackhawks over the Moroccan coastline?

IDK.
