I suggest the biggest you can afford. I bought a Liberty safe and my wife and I both use it. Trust me, just buy the biggest and try to get at least 3 sided locking bolt with a minum 7/8". We spent around $2,000 but it has well worth it. Another thing I noticed decide if you need fire or theft protection most. The composites have better fire but the solids are better for theft.

I've been to the Liberty dealer by me and most likely would buy the Colonial model from them,but he was to call today and did'nt...Now I have second thoughts |
| I spent about a month looking and researching safes. I bought an AMSEC. I thought that for the price it gave better fire protection than the "drywall lined safes". Also, it had a great guarantee and 1/2" thick steel plate door. Weighs in at 1100 lbs. Pay to get it moved! And buy a larger one than you think you need. They fill ip fast. |
