15 years ago this video was uploaded, and being the early days of youtube it was simply a parody of something that Lasagna Cat hated with the fire of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Garfield.

There's nothing particularly offensive about Garfield. Or funny.  Or entertaining.  Jim Davis has stated that Garfield was designed to be a generic inoffensive character that was easily marketable.  Jim Davis actually quit drawing his own creation in the 90's and has a team who does so.

He has made a shitload of money off of this comic, but at the same time... it... just... isn't... good.  Its not clever, or really anything fancy. Just something that middle aged overweight HR reps read in the morning and make Monday jokes about.  Its the McDonalds of Sunday comics.

Lasagna Cat rips every comic with a COMPLETELY dead pan live action reenactment of the parodied comic, with canned laughter at the end. This is followed up with the actual comic and some skit revolving around the comic.





Some are better than others.

A small amount of videos were uploaded and the channel went dark after a year.  A better than average, or even talented shitposter would call this a success and move on.  For years, that was all there was to the story of Lasagna Cat.  Some mildly funny videos that would get traction for years to come.

However.

Just under a decade later...

A U.S.



and international trailer for a sex survey appeared out of nowhere.



What. The. Fuck.

And then this MONSTER of a trailer dropped.



MORE what the fuck.  Like that looked expensive, and AGAIN call the number, tell em your name and number of sexual partners.



K den.

Then.  The videos returned.

First there was this:



Same concept, shitty comic in live action, canned laughter and live action skit afterwards.

THIS DUDE TALKS FOR A FUCKIN HOOOOOUUUUURRRRR ABOUT GARFIELD.

AN HOUR.

and then THIS FUCKIN TRIP.



Holy crap there is A LOT OF CAPITAL tied up this time around, and each video was WILD.

Finally the sex results survey video gets posted.  Where EVERY persons name is read along with their number of sexual partners, and this goes on for FOUR HOURS. If you called that number, your name and partners made it on.

And they made a UNIQUE newspaper for EVERYONE.

The sheer logistics and time required to do this must have been RETARDLY high.  All for a joke. A dumb joke that was elevated because of the ABSURD capital and labor that went into it.

The end of the video... is appropriately... a trip.  I won't post it because there's a small horror film at the end with... well a lot of stuff that probably won't fly on this website.

And then.

Nothing.

No more comics.  No more parodies, and no more surveys.  Just silence.  Why did lasagna cat come back?  Why did he need the results?  Refer to the trailer where you are simply told not to ask questions.  No questions were ever answered.  Just a marginal parody channel from the Genesis of youtube coming back with a MONSTER of budget and a man of sheer AMBITION and WILLPOWER to put the MOST amount of effort into....

Saying Garfield isn't funny.

The bar this man set is excessively high.  Only the most autist of autists could ever hope to achieve such and accomplishment, but there it is.

Wild game is usually very lean, and sausage needs fat content to hold together and taste 'sausagey'.  I turn all the tailings and trimmings into sausage...basically any meat that is too small for stew chunks.  I have trouble finding enough beef or pork fat from local butchers with which to mix it to get the right fat content.

If you mean you've never seen a package of 'bacon' that fatty, I haven't either.
