Swiss army watch automatic. I know it's a poor man watch but how long setting should I expect it to run? Granted it's 20 plus years old and somedays I'm not to active. upload picture web" />

My seiko 7s26 goes ~46hrs avg.
I take it off Fri at 1700 and it stops around 1500 on Sun.
It needs a service though

At that age, probably not long. The oil is likely dried up or broken down, and the mainspring is fatigued. Due for a service, or if that's not economical, replacement.

A mechanical watch, like anything else mechanical, will require maintenance.

I'm lucky if it will last overnight
Probably not worth the expense to repair and illumination stopped years ago. Think I paid around $400 back in 02.

The movement service could probably be done for a couple hundred bucks. Lume can be refreshed as well, depending on the watchmaker.

I’d wear until it quit or lost a ton of time. An ETA 2836-2 movement is cheap. A new movement will be less than a service, bc it can be swapped in no time.

depends on the watch. My Pelagos will run ~70+ hours without wearing it before it starts to slog down. My son's Seiko 5 will do ~30 or so.

get it serviced or don't be afraid to wear it overnight. I do with most of mine and no issues.

It’s a 40hr movement that costs $75, a service would be a few hundred minimum.

If it is an ETA 2836-2 it shouldn't be difficult to swap out for anyone who does "Seiko mods".

Especially if you go with a clone of it... https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256804565876791.html

I just ordered a Oris Aquis Automatic Blue dial.
At least it's a step up
