Well, that's ONE way to ruin a perfectly good martini garnish, I suppose.

The one time I tried blue cheese stuffed olives I had to spit them out. Im not picky, not tender tummy, and I love both things on their own but together they literally tasted like vomit.

View Quote Got the idea off of food network. I thought it was actually going to be really good : State Fair Food: Deep Fried Olives I was kinda disappointed. |

OP. I hate you. I think? I’m confused in a “why would you do that but it also makes my taste buds horny” kind of way.
2021 is off the fucking chain. |

I love olives. Of all types.
Can’t be much different than a fried pickle. |
|
That's an interesting take OP. I like cheese stuffed olives. I'd eat those.

Funnel cake looks great. Olives are disgusting to me, but I realize that lots of people love them

Grilled olives are pretty good too. Before the wuhan virus burned down the world, my local grocery store had a pretty nice olive bar. Now their olives are prepackaged and they hiked the price.
Anyways, blue cheese, feta, or provolone stuffed olives grilled for a few minutes are delicious. |

I just polished off the last of my Goya pimento stuffed olives.

I love stuffed olives and I love fried stuff but them fried olives look disgusting.

Did the funnel cake taste like olives and blue cheese with sugar on it?

I love olives, especially the stuffed ones. I wonder if this would have been better with the garlic stuffed ones. I am not much for battering things but this looked pretty good.

View Quote I am going to try this one more time with stuffed olives in vermouth. There wasn’t a good balance between the sweetness of the funnel cake and the olive-ness….errr….brine-ness of the olives. Yeah…yeah…shocking I know. |

There’s a whole lot of what the fucking fuck in this thread.
Attached File Let’s list some of them: Blue cheese olives? Seriously, what in the actual fuck? Fried olives? The fuck? I had to double check to make sure the OP wasn’t @Thorazine because I really thought it was. |

I could live out the rest of my days consuming only olives, cheese and mushrooms. The OP is a culinary wizard and should be treated as such.

I'm. A fuckin olive addict.
I love those damn things. Don't know how I feel about frying them. Would try it though. |

Sweet and salty are generally good together.
I like olives. I like funnel cake batter. In my mind, I cannot reconcile the two of them together. It truly sounds terrible. And I eat all kinds of odd shit. Blue cheese stuffed olives in a cornmeal and flour batter with a bit of salt and pepper tossed in might work for me. |

First they ruined perfectly good olives with nasty blue cheese and then you went and ruined them even more by frying them. Should have just made funnel cakes.
|

I'm with ya, OP.
Fried olives are the shizz-nit. Next time, try the garlic stuffed olives. Those are my favorite. |

Local Italian place does these. They are so freaking good. Who knew something so simple could be that good.
