Forbes article discussing bourbon for the NY international spirits competition. I plan on sampling some as I enjoy whiskey, bourbon and rye but can’t claim that I have any great knowledge of these spirits.

You're going to get as many opinions as there are bourbons. It's all about what you like, what tastes good to you.
I will say a lot of the spirits listed in that article are not true bourbons. Texas Straight Wheated Bourbon Whiskey is an example. Try a bunch and buy what you like. Also just because something is expensive, doesn't mean it's better tasting to you. Cheers  |

My take:
There are premium bourbons that I don’t like and cheaper ones that I really like. You need to find the ones you like and ignore the “experts” |
