I watch a lot of movies with the kids. A lot of them are probably not appropriate for them and my wife tells me that. So I’ve been watching more wholesome movies lately. I wanted to watch Three Amigos but without watching The Magnificent Seven (original), they would lose some context so we watched that first. I’ve seen the Seven Samurai on which it is based but don’t own it. Anyway, this scene from The Three Amigos cracked me up.

You shot the invisible swordsman!
Would you say I have a plethora of piñatas? |

One of my favorite kid friendly movies, we watch it entirely to much when they are around.

A classic and a good funny movie.
The "do you know what a plethora is?" scene is my favorite. I always thought it was funny in some B western when some bad guy or Indian who was portrayed as poorly educated and illiterate uses some big word, and clearly the writers and directors of this movie shared that opinion |

Great movie.
"U Want To Die With A Mannn's Gun, Not A Sissy Gun Like This" |

One of the best renditions of Jesusita en Chihuahua I have seen.
The Saturday after thanksgiving we play Three Amigos and Nacho Libre while eating tamales and tacos and decorate our tree and the house. Fun times. |

We be shot up!
“Tell me Carmen, do you know what ‘foreplay’ is? Good! Neither does El Guapo.” |

Are Gringos falling from the sky???
I miss my El Guapo Avatar |

Quoted: Are Gringos falling from the sky??? I miss my El Guapo Avatar View Quote In a way, all of us has an El Guapo to face. For some, shyness might be their El Guapo. For others, a lack of an El Guapo avatar might be their El Guapo. For us, El Guapo is a big, dangerous man who wants to kill us. But as sure as my name is Lucky Day, the people of Santa Poco can conquer their own personal El Guapo, who also happens to be *the actual* El Guapo! |

You told me I have a plethora. And I just would like to know if you know what a plethora is. I would not like to think that a person would tell someone he has a plethora, and then find out that that person has "no idea" what it means to have a plethora. |

Quoted: Exactly. That’s the type of humor I love and no swearing in the movie! View Quote Not really a cuss word but the only part I would kind of cringe at with my young daughters. Three Amigos: I'll fill you so full of lead that you'll be using your dick for a pencil! |

He said "gorilla", not "guerrilla". "Guer", "go"... Huge difference!

I remember when I was a little kid, I didn't like that scene. Because the other two guys were so thirsty, and Chevy Chase wasted his water. I felt so bad for them.

I like the one who's not so smart.
At the end, when Lucky Day tells her "I'll come back one day"... |

As we get further away from knowledge about reading telegrams the joke "STOP THE INFAMOUS EL GUAPO" is lost on most younger people.
