Why do that to yourself? As someone who played high school and Div. III ball, I will tell you padless tackle football was easier on my body than having pads and a helmet. |

I have Bengals +850 to win the Super Bowl so I'm just going to let that ride for this match up. I might make an in game bet though. However, so many people thinking Bengals has me leaning Chiefs. |

Quoted: Yes. The Bills had the #2 offense, one of the best ST units in the league, and a defense that was top-5 by most metrics. They had injuries towards the end, but that was a damn good team. I'm not sure why they fell apart in the divisional round. And just because that happened doesn't mean they didn't go into the playoffs as a much better team. The Chiefs have an awesome if inconsistent offense, but the ST and defense are both hot garbage. The defensive stats look almost reasonable after playing toilet teams for 6 of the last 7 games, but that shouldn't be fooling anyone. They're also the only team that made it out of the WC round with a negative turnover differential. When they play the Bengals, their many flaws will be pretty obvious. I think you've made more point spread related posts in the past 5 days than you have in the previous 5 months. Well.... When 75%+ of the public bets/money is on the Bengals, that's a good indicator I'm not the only one who thinks the way I do about the Chiefs. |

IIRC ST were solid against the Jags. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Yes. Quoted: I haven't followed Indy too closely, and I'm not sure how many of their games I've actually seen, so I'm sure I'm missing a lot of the picture. The obvious first talking point is QB. After Luck's sudden retirement, they've trotted out Jacoby Brisset, Philip Rivers, Carson Wentz, and Matt Ryan. That's rough. I'm not sure how much say Reich had on Wentz or Ryan. The next issue, back to the FO, is drafting. Since 2017 (6 draft classes), Indy has drafted 3 ProBowlers: Quentin Nelson, Shaq Leonard, and Jonathan Taylor. That's not awesome, and then you consider positional value, and it gets worse. It's also worth mentioning they didn't have first round picks in 2019, 2020, or 2022. The 2019 pick was used to trade down, the 2020 pick was traded for DeForest Buckner, and the 2022 pick was a conditional second round pick that became a first because Wentz played 75%+ of the snaps. Also not great. lol Both Indy and Carolina have big issues at the ownership level, too. Reich isn't fixing that. I don't think he's an awesome candidate, but I think they could have done a lot worse. I also don't think Carolina is the sort of team that should hire a young guy fresh out of a coordinator job. View Quote The part in bold is fair, and I agree. The FO stuff you mentioned really isn't all that bad. Most FA's and trades don't seem to work out but in their situation it's understandable that they were reaching. Wentz though...that happened because of Reich. Maybe he didn't ask for him, but anybody and everybody said "Hey, they worked well together once..." The real question marks for me were continuing to play Ryan when it was obvious he wasn't the guy, not using Taylor more while he's in his prime, and just some boneheaded situational football stuff. It just seemed like he never had a grasp of what that team was. |

Is there a zoomer Walton that doesn't like gumbo? What is the answer? So Payton is interviewing with several teams. Word gets out that one of the teams isn't a fit due to a personality conflict. This could diminish Payton's leverage, so he denies it. I hope this prima donna coach is worth it. |

It was his NINTH straight season with over 200 penalties (7 of those in 16 game seasons). This year's stats: 237 penalties, 2,109 yards, 274 total flags. The league average: 199 penalties, 1,714 yards, 233 total flags. Bill Vinovich (who was awarded the Cowboys vs 49ers game): 154 penalties, 1,282 yards, 182 total flags.
