How close are those two launch pads and is the SLS in the hazard zone if the Falcon 9 blows up at or within seconds of launch.  Obviously that event is very low probability.

I had a feeling it might have been a photo perspective issue.  They are very far apart.   Thanks.

I believe that Axiom wants to build a commercial space station.

The landing video was about the best yet.

The video on my computer was delayed about 30 seconds compared to the video on my phone.  Maybe that is a computer issue since many functions do lag.

Man, they make it look easy.

Think about the fact that they are so confident in their equipment that they use a booster that has survived the rigors of launch 4 times before, for human cargo.  Very cool.

Now its the Sierra Club and Army Corps of Red Tape. They're going after Musk with everything to put sticks in the proverbial wheel.

Starship may NEVER launch from Boca Chica! Environmental groups claim victory over SpaceX.

The center video from Dragon pointing at the docking adapter is not visible to the ISS crew.  That is a requirement to dock.

Resolution efforts underway.

Back to sleep here.

The advantage to flying them again and again is they get the opportunity to see which parts wear and fatigue and at what rate. I guarantee they know down to which bolts can be reused and how many times before replacement.

IMHO single use boosters were one of the largest hindrances to the rate that space flight could develop. Engineers only had a single time to make sure things worked. They didn’t get a chance to inspect things afterwards to determine where there were deficiencies and which parts were over designed.

There is a slim chance that this timing before sunrise might be good for seeing ascent trails.  With launches 14 minutes earlier each day about another five day slip would be much better.

Civil twilight on 17 April is at 602 AM PDT and sunrise is 628 AM PDT.

A five day slip? This isn't NASA.. It is Elon.

It is possible and may have happened.  Weather delays.  Cruise ships entering hazard zone.  Delays are not a bad thing if it contributes to a successful launch.
