So, I just went and got a 14" Old Hickory. Poor mans zombie chopper. |

At the moment I would go to my LWRC upper/Seekins lower SBR build because I am confident in it, but my new Sig MCX is growing on me fast. The M1A and REPR are too heavy, and my SBR tax stamp hasn't came in yet on my MPX so they are all out of consideration. Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.

The FAL is actually a DS Arms SA58 carbine so it's engineered to function with a shorter barrel. I did have a L1A1 part gun years ago that I had a gunsmith buddy of mine put together for me. He shorten the barrel and enlarged the gas port so it would cycle property. Never had a problem with it but unfortunately had to sell it when I was between jobs, when I got back on my feet I got the DSA. |
