Was moving a downed tree that was covered in vines and spanish moss when I got zapped in the thigh by something. Felt like a bad wasp sting so I just kept working. When I came in to change I noticed it was two holes instead of one. Was wearing bdu pants and it looks a bit large for a spider so maybe snake? Roku button for size reference been about 20 minutes and only minor swelling.

| Snakes and spiders can do "dry" bites where venom is not injected. Also, types of venom vary greatly. Watch for necrotic flesh..after a day or two it gets really sore and flesh rots. My wife and I stayed in a nice hotel outside of Vancouver B.C., and she got two dry bites on her forearm that itched like a big mosquito bite. I got three bites (6 very obvious puncture wounds within a half inch) in the taint that had venom in them. Itched for first day, flesh began to decompose by day two...into the doctor for antibiotics and pain pills...it took a month to finally heal up, and I could barely sit for the first two weeks. Really funny if it happens to the other guy....not so much when it is your taint that is rotting. |

Disregard first post. Looking back at the pics the holes aren't that far apart.
It would have had to been a cottonmouth or a rattlesnake if it was a snake(Coral snakes have to basically chew on you to get you). But it's possible it was a dry bite from a rattler. If so you are a lucky fucker! |

You will be 100% fine if you keep it clean. It can get necrotic. |
