I thought this was a sad movie when all was said and done. After drifting apart Geneviève and Guy meet at the gas station he owns. Françoise is their child. She has married another man she does not love. Guy has married Madeleine, whom he does love, and has a child.
 The Umbrellas of Cherbourg Ending Scene (Les Parapluies de Cherbourg)  but Catherine Deneuve was a babe!
