Well I bought a Glock 20 last week so I guess I’m a believer
Or at least hopeful lol |

My favorite 10 meter bullet comes in a S&W Model 57 and says 41 on the headstamp.

Those better options aren't as easy to find or afford like 10mm. 10mm is the compromise between magnum rounds out of revolvers and semiauto capacity without becoming prohibitively expensive to shoot. Just out of curiosity, can yku hunt with 10mm in Pennsylvania?

I’ll probably end up buying one of the new Sig P320 X-Ten pistols in about a year, but it’d just be for fun at the range and to have something different. 9mm does everything I need from a handgun perfectly well

Hell yes, I was just looking at ammo yesterday, I have had mine for over twenty years.

If you reload and don't mind chasing brass, it's great. If you don't reload, you will either never shoot it, or you'll be broke.
I think it's a fun round to play with, but it doesn't really scratch an itch for me. |

I used to think so. Till I found out about 45 Super/450SMC and 460 Rowland.

Quoted: This. You can find badass factory loads, but of course you'll pay dearly ($). If you're going to load ammunition yourself, .40 will likely do anything you'll need it to do, plus you've got the option to buy less expensive bulk ammunition for training/plinking purposes. Of course, you can shoot .40 S&W out of a 10mm Glock. You cannot shoot .40 S&W out of a 10mm MP5/10 however (due to how the extractor works). View Quote Data point: 40 S&W feeds/cycles/shoots fine through an EAA/Tanfoglio Witness 10mm. |

I bought it as my first Father's Day gift to myself back in 1991. It's been highly customized since then. Nowadays most 1911s come with all those bells & whistles, but back then it was pretty much DIY. |

If using full house 10mm then yes, worth having. Something to be said for G-20 with 16 Underwood 220 HC on board. Great hiking pistol for most of North America.

I held a Glock 40 at a gun store and immediately felt like a modern Dirty Harry. I'll probably get one someday but will likely get a .44 revolver first (already have ammo) even though I don't need either.

My Tanfoglio 10mm is my woods gun and my Hi-Point 10mm carbine is my beater rifle for the 4 wheeler.
Yeah- I like it. |

Quoted: The Glock 20 is absolutely massive, I almost bought one until I held it and realized I'd never carry it in the woods. The 1911 10mm's can be smaller but are heavy. I carry 9mm in town in a much smaller package (Sig P365). When I hike, I carry 357 magnum. It does everything the 10mm does in a 17 ounce package (Ruger KLCR). It's the perfect woods gun, so light you forget it's there. If I'm planning on shooting something (small game) I'll carry my Ruger SP101 with a 4.2" barrel. If I was actually concerned about bears, I'd carry my 44 Mag (S&W 629). The 10mm is like the Ford Raptor. It's awesome and powerful and expensive and sexy and probably has more power than you'll ever need until you actually have to tow something big then there are much better options. https://i.imgur.com/4ED7cPX.png View Quote Underwood has a 220 grain 10mm that'll go 1200fps and have 704 ft lbs of energy. 10mm 1911 is as good as it gets in semi auto handgun
dan wesson, colt, kimber, sig. now if only s&w would produce one. |

I have a G41 and a 10mm conversion barrel is available.
I occasionally think about buying one but I can't imagine why. |

Is there another Glock 20 sized handgun with as much firepower? That’s 15 rounds of 180gr going 1,300fps or 200gr going 1,250fps.

Yes.
Also the G20 gen 4 and G21 gen 4 fit in the same holster so you need both of those for sure |
