Side note.
Earlier this week I was BBQing or rather trying to. Lacey my Yellow lab was laying next to me. Colby Jack came up to Lacey and sniffed her from head to tail. Lacey gave her a slight sniff back. Next thing I know Colby Jack is snuggled up against Laceys belly. I will take that as a Absolute sign |

I've still yet to be a recipient of the CDS The Dog/Cat Distribution System ( DCDS) doesn't seem to run on a regular schedule. The good lord has sent you that creature to soften the hard edges up. Feed and water it like a good human being.

Quoted: Neighbor was chosen by a tuxedo female feral kitten that I have grown fond of. She's confusing though in that she loves to be near you but keeps her distance. I mean she runs over to you and then more or less ignores you but stays within 5 feet or so. You can scratch and rub her where she is black or anywhere from the neck up. Scratch her belly and she will bite or scratch the hell out of you. Odd cat but she's OK. We adopted a very small Tuxedo female and didn't know she was ridden with fleas. Gave her a dawn bath with a few different flea treatments. Now on a Seresto collar which seems to be working well as they came back despite Frontline Plus treatments prior to the collar. She just now is old enough to go into her first heat and was driving everyone crazy. We had her scheduled to get fixed but no options until late July going into August Not sure how true it is but one of my wife's coworkers said its better spay female cats after their first heat anyways than when they are kittens. We have an older cat (silver tabby) that hates the young one with a passion Tuxedo's as we have learned as pretty spastic. Fun cats but you have to keep them entertained. Luckily we have 3 kids in the house that give her a lot of attention. |

A good friend has a Hagar the horrible cartoon.
Hagar is shipwrecked on a large rock outcropping and he yells to the sky "why me?". God responds, "why not?". |

Most orange cats are male, with an estimated 80% of orange cats being male and only 20% being female. YMMV. I have ZERO actual idea. The best cat we ever had just showed up at the house one winter and would not leave me alone, just refused to leave, wanted to be pet. He was skin and bones. I set him up with a makeshift enclosed box and blankets outside, put food in it, and lo and behold he actually slept in it several nights in a row.
Then he wanted to come inside. Would just show up and be at the door. So eventually we just brought him in. He lived with us 7 years, kindly raised two abandoned feral kittens like he was their own mom, was the friendliest cat towards people and kids, and the best mouser we ever had. He would even go on walks with you like a dog and would stay by your side the whole way. The best pets choose you. |

We get one every now and then. Fluffy showed up about six months ago to add to our cat collection. Sweet and adorable.

Do what I do.
Borrow a "live trap" from the pound and catch it. Return the trap with the cat in it to the pound. Rinse and repeat as necessary. |

Easy OP.
Nothing says "Fuck off freeloader" like a bath from the waterhose. |

Cats are lower maintenance than dogs and that does not even look like a young cat and she's taken a liking to you and your dog when you didn't even invite her? Stop fighting it you dingbat. |

Almost without fail, when I was in need or about to need a new buddy, one showed up. I've still yet to be a recipient of the CDS When I moved out here last year I brought Bob with me. He was my previous CDS cat, named so because he was a defect without a tail. Didn’t stop him from being excellent rodent control. Bob has been MIA for three months now, such is the life of an outdoor cat. Three weeks ago a big, long haired all white Tom started hanging around. I’ve taken to calling him Yeti. He’s since taken over Bobs old spot on the porch and is also hell on mice. The system seems to work as designed. |

The cat should have her new human take her to the vet to get checked out. Then allow her new human to feed and pet her.
