So I have Taran +2's for my G42 and love them.  I'm leaning that way for my new G43, but I'd like to know what other options exist that don't require cutting the tabs on the factory mags to install the mag extensions?

I've already seen a lot of other brands and offerings and have nothing against any of them, but in a lot of the install videos, the guys mention cutting the tabs and I'd prefer to avoid that if possible.

I got the Vickers extensions. They installed in 30 seconds and have been working well.

I picked up some of the +2 extensions from Strike Industries. Love em.

Ehh fuck it, I just went with Tarans in Green to go with an OD holster I just ordered.  Got a pair of +3's to add to my factory mags and got 3x complete mags with +2's.  I like having options

You don't have to cut the tabs off the mags for the Taran extensions.  I have the +1s on G43 mags and didn't modify the mags at all to get them on.

as Russell commented, my TT +2s went on my G43 mags without any modification

This. I have two mags with Taran +2's and didn't cut the tabs.

I have a handful of the Vickers +2 extensions for my 43 and they were tight to begin with, but with a little use they are all good to go now with no issues.

Pearce +1s for my G43.  They are just as reliable as their +1s for the G42.  All of my G42 and G43 mags have these on them.  They only add as much length as the Glock finger rest floor plate does.

Vickers are +2s, right?  How long do they make the assembled magazine?

You don't have to cut the tabs but I put the thing on slightly crooked on one of my G43 mags and it never fit just right, boogered up the bottom lips of the mag.  The stock mag plate fit back on OK though.  Then I carefully put it on another mag with no issues

That's only a bit longer than the Pearce +1s.  I'm intrigued...

I run a TTI +1 and +3 no issues on them and they just slide on the bottom no mods to the mag body.

Tarans tear up the bottom of my mags. And if you ever want or need to clean your mags, more damage. My ex-Taran mags look like garbage on the bottom with torn, ripped, and gouged plastic.

The horrendous PITA or removing and re-installing the Tarans have made me move to the Vickers and Pearch.

I have vickers and had a hell of a time getting 8 rounds in one of them, they sent new springs which worked. the follower occasionally nose dives when you sling shot the slide as well. my tt+1 has been amazing.

Only had that issue with 147 gr ammo.  It also happened on all my mags.

I have intermittent issues with 147 HST.  No issues with 124 HST all my pistols I feed 147 except the 43.  The 147 HST is slightly longer is what I suspect is the cause.

Definitely a fan of the TT +2's.. Have 3 mags with them, yes I cut the tabs off the factory mags, but I don't really care as I have no intention of taking the extensions off as they give me a much better grip on the 43.

OK, I love the basepad!

And interesting to hear your guys reports of the 147's.  I have about 3600 rds of 147gr HST's (standard pressure).  Dont wanna have to buy 124s but I guess I have to be prepared for the possibility.  Thanks for the feedback
