It's been a while since I had a bolt gun.. I have one being made for me now by Altus. Hopefully it will be finished next month. It's a 6.5 creedmoor on a Zermatt Tl3 action with a 24" bartlein m24 contour barrel and a manners t4a in elite high plains.

I have a 3rd DMR2 that is a spare currently since I got the DMR3 as a replacement for an SMRS 1-6.5x that had a chipped internal lens. Since they don't sell any LPVO's now that are made in Japan they said they'd replace it with a XRS3 or DMR3. I went with the DMR3 as I like the power range and objective size. |

I have an HMR in 300prc. I thoroughly enjoy shooting it. Can't say it better than the savage 308 tactical but it's easier to shoot. They have different jobs and do them both well.
cIp mags for that length ore spendy though |

Damn OP I'd be happy with that bolt gun collection too. You have all the bases covered, and with very high quality rifles. I love the TRG. One of my dream rifles right there, but I'd have mine in 338 Lapua.

I thought about 338LM but I don’t really have the range to shoot even the 300WM to its fullest potential. |

View Quote If you do decide you really need big caliber, may I suggest a look at the 338 Norma. Or even the 300 Norma. The Norma was a redesign of the 338 Lapua to utilize better projectiles that weren’t available when the Lapua was developed. Then necked down to 300 to make the 300 NM. And it will ballistically outperform a 338 Lapua at extreme ranges. For reference you can look up what calibers are winning the ELR comps in light class. And it’s often the 300 NM or the 300 NM Ackley Improved. Though some guys still do well with the 338 Lapua. |

I found a Bartlein 30cal 1:9” twist barrel blank with a 24” finished length with the TRG profile (which is a 6+ month) wait for a good price so I grabbed it.
I’m thinking I’ll switch the TRG to 300PRC when the time comes just because I’ll have to send the rifle off to SAC anyway and my 300WM brass will be shot by then. I think it should feed fine out and f the magazines and they have plenty of room for the 230gr OAL’s. |

Nice collection OP!
I really need an AI in my collection, but I just can’t get used to the older style chassis. It’s easier to blame it on that vs being poor. |

You need a short action 6mm, then you’ll shoot more.
Nice rigs. |

An AT chassis just sold for $1K on GunBroker and some people want the AX chassis for their AT since it’s more competition oriented. |

If I really felt I needed one I’d just get a barrel for the TL2, however, I don’t see that ever happening. |
