I would like to replace the OEM muzzle brake with a Key Mount brake… removing it wasn’t a problem, but installing a new brake might be?

The OEM brake looks like it has a crush washer that indexes off the muzzle crown, and not a shoulder aft of the threads, so there isn’t anything for timing shims to rest against.

What are my options?

Are you saying it’s a tapered muzzle?

Yeah, it’s an 11 Scout with the front sight.

Use a new crush washer and crush it until it's timed.
Get a jam nut and use that to time it (not sure how the device is bore'd so maybe no-go)
You could probably use Rocksett, time it, and let the locker do its job
I could keep going but it gets more expensive

Dead Air Key Mo comes with indexing washers.  Works pretty good.  I have them on everything with threads.
