The Red Lobster has it as an appetizer and for $10, it's actually not a bad pizza.  I'll order it as a meal.

I'm in Miami and the GF and I are in search of a good NY style pizza place and we're pretty much striking out left and right, for that killer pie.

We have some decent places: The Big Cheese (Coral Gables,) Rustic Pizza & Spris (Lincoln Rd./South Beach) and Bob The Baker (Cooper City,) but nothing to write home about.

Local pizzeria has the Hawaiian Volcano: Canadian Bacon, Pineapple and Jalapenos.  It is very good deep dish.

I am guilty of eating anchovies straight out of the jar.
Love them on a pizza or in a Ceasar Salad.

Back bacon and pineapple with fresh tomato on top with a sweet pizza sauce is hard to beat, but I would not put anchovies on that combo.

I was loving the Hawaiian Surprise going back to my college days, in the early 80s...'81-'82, at least.  I'm sure that pineapple and ham go farther back.

Anchovies as well.

I prefer the former, but don't care for the latter.

FRESH Anchovies are really good on Pizza.



I can live with the pickled, fried, baked, canned, nuked, preserved, salted variety available here, but FRESH out of the Med is just the tits.



And Canadian bacon and pineapple goes back to at least the '60's IIRC

I have tried the Annie Oakley.  It was actually pretty damn good.  Never tired the one with the peanut butter.

My buddy is Polish. He had a pizzeria for a time called the Pollak's Pizza Grotto. This is Jersey pizza so you know it's gonna be good.





It was, thin crust with whipped potatoes, cooked onion and garlic and fresh parm cheese over that......... The best thing I ever ate !
