I'll keep my opinion to myself. Also, didn't know BCM offered a nickel boron bolt carrier group. Hint, they don't.

Your right, I assembled two guns this week, and the other one had the BCM bcg. This on has a APF bcg.

I've never understood why people put paint jobs on their rifles....they aren't a street rod, they are a rifle. I wonder if the same people who paint their rifles are the same kinds of people who paint the break calipers on their cars, or put goofy graphics on the sides of their car.

To each their own I guess.

While most painted guns aren't my bag either, I fully understand why people like to step out of the box for personal preference. There's nothing more boring than robotic, lockstep, styling in cars, guns, or anything else that has potential visual appeal. The old term "variety is the spice of life" is an old term because it's a fact. Repainting the Mona Lisa to make it appear "fresher" might be one of those things that most would be considered absolute heresy...or sticking it in a Walmart plastic frame to display in the Louvre. However, painting a gun, installing a "goofy" graphic on a car, or other personal touch isn't a big deal. When I see something that pushes my personal "ugh" button, I just look away...LOL!

My guns are unpainted but the bare cast iron calipers on my truck were painted black before they could rust, can't see them thru the wheels anyway but I hate rust.

This looks much better than your rifle...

I'm hoping there's some hooker red inside the car to match... And also, I agree that you need to have the avatar on the weapon now too and the rifle never leave the car. It is also required that Bruce Springsteen be the only music played now when in aforementioned car.
