I have a DigiRig for use with my Yaesu FT-891, but do not own a 3d printer to fabricate a mount. Armoloq uses a some kind of Kydex mount and I'd like something similar that would work the the Portable Zero rails.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to secure the DigiRig to the radio or Portable Zero mount? I don't want to use velcro.

You could get an ARMALOQ frame for your 891 and then put their DigRig mount on the frame.
Maybe there is some way to mount the DigiRig to your existing frame.
Just reread the post. I missed your second sentence, lol.

If I didn't have the Portable Zero Rails I might consider buying the Armoloq mount. The Armoloq cage design looks rugged enough, but I will never carry the the FT-891 in a backpack.

Buy the kydex holster from armoloq then just bolt it to your portable zero rails

I was hoping someone had a 3D printed alternative. The Armoloq version uses a M-Lock mount and I'm not sure it would work well with the Portable Zero rail.

Kydex is pretty easy to mold yourself if you have a heat gun.
