Just picked a couple up right at ten months to approval.
Ordered another because I keep hearing about fast approvals. 19 days in now, I figure with my luck this one will run another ten months too. |

I just filed one as an individual. Not expecting a fast approval. I’ve had trusts go as long as 15 months. My fastest was just under ten. Both trusts, this one is filed individual.
My question is does being a fourth have anything to do with the approval times? Any body else heard this? |

Any first, second, junior, etc wouldn't get approved at all for about a month. Glitch in an ATF "fix" of their electronic efile system. I was caught in it for a couple weeks. BUT IT IS FIXED. Mine was approved and went through a few days ago. GOT THE EMAIL THE CLEO HAS SIGNED FOR THE NOTIFICATION! Est. shipping the 31st! |

I have a eForm 4 certified on 5/3 under a traditional trust, 1RP.
I was holding out for a quick approval but after 30 days I'll just resign myself to it possibly taking 90+ days to approve. |

It was a problem on ATF's end. So no approvals until they got it straightened out. Which it has been for about a week.
CA wouldn't do the certification until they knew it was fixed. I was caught up in it for a couple weeks but CA contacted me soon as ATF fixed it, certified, sent it in and the ATF approved it this past week. |

View Quote I don’t think that’s the reason I didn’t get a fast approval, certified on 4/5 which was a while before that issue. And still not approved after they fixed, looks like I’m in for the long haul again. |

The individual eForm 4's furthest out days seem to be creeping down a bit. I just passed 60 days on mine. Hopefully I see mine before the listed 113 days.

Eform 4 trust, waiting since 3/3 not my first NFA item either. I usually wait until the day after the average wait time then contact my congressman. Ftatf

[#22]
Both trust f4's I have in right now are now over the median wait time
|
|

[#23]
1. 4/3 - SS trust - still waiting (first NFA)
2. 4/30 - SS trust - still waiting |

[#24]
That’s crazy that the median wait time is 3 days for individual eforms. That’s means half of the applications are getting approved in 3 days or less and the other half at 4 days and above which I assume is 4-113 days from the data listed above.

This is the craziest thing. My 2nd form 4 that I certified on 5/8 just got approved but my 1st one from 4/18 is still pending. Go figure!
Question, for all my previous approvals, my dealer notified me of the approval and the form had an actual stamp. But this time it’s an electronic stamp like you get on a form 1. Is this the new way. Am I ok to go and pick it up from my dealer now or do I wait till them tell me to pick it up? |

And I would just call your dealer and tell them you got your approved form. There shouldn't be any reason you can't go pick it up now. |

I've still got a late Jan. F4 submission I'm waiting on from my trust.
I've sent in 2 as individual since then, and both approved. First took about a month, the 2nd was 1.5 days. |
