So, when I got mine, the guy included a 50rd drum. I was excited, until...ProMag.

I know they're universally hated, but is there any chance that it might work?

Anyone know where SB braces are in stock?

edit: SBTEVO-G2

edit: Joe Bob Outfitters has them in stock.

I just grabbed an EVO 3+ Micro, but I have two issues:

1)  How far recessed in the handguard is the threaded barrel?  I REALLY want to use some kind of brake/compensator like the HBI one, but I assume it's going to have to be extended like 1-2" to clear the polymer handguards. I don't like linear "brakes" or "faux suppressors", but it'll likely be at least a year before I can get an actual suppressor.

2)  A lot of places with the best prices on PMAG35s have mixed stock between the old and new mags, so they can't guarantee you'll get a 3+ compatible mag...I sure wish CZ had updated a SKU or UPC or something.
----

NOTE:
From my research, people seem to really like the HBI reduced trigger spring kit, and some recommend the +125% recoil spring, so those are my only two out of the box mods, though I'll likely go with different safety selectors like the HBI extended on the left and the AK style on the right.

The new sights are a good height, but they do look a bit bulky and heavy. It'll be interesting to see how I like them.

wanting to pick up a heavier recoil spring and striker block from nexus
shipping is $14 for just recoil spring and striker
shipping is $4 for 1 recoil spring and $8 for 2 recoil springs

Anybody know another place for both the spring and striker?
or coupon code for shipping? lol

Very fun and highly reliable PCC. Mandatory upgrade was the R side safety delete, otherwise additions are largely functional and/or cosmetic. Manticore Arms flash hider, Streamlight compact rifle light, PA Micro Dot, Lage folding stock. A little grip tape and a Kriss VFG to round it out.

After wanting one for about 10 years, I finally pulled the trigger (no pun intended) on a:

CZ Scorpion EVO 3+ 7.8" 9mm

Should I go ahead and SBR it, or just stick with a pistol brace?

Will be running with a Can, sometimes.

Are the Magpul mags compatible with the 2022 redesign?

Mine now stays in the bedroom for home defense duty.
Beats the hell out of a handgun.

Go on and SBR it. Gives you so many options on stocks. Mine stays suppressed with an AB Sabre.

Wanting to get the faux-suppressor off the barrel. I've seen some janky reports of people using a heat gun, I'd be afraid of melting the furniture. I think it's affixed with loctite.

I used a strap wrench on mine and it came right off.

I did the same,  it came right off.  I put a simple flash suppressor in its place.

Add me to the list of Scorpion owners now.  I've been wanting one for a while, and was getting ready to pull the trigger on a new 3+, but one of my best friends offered his gently used S1 grey pistol with SB brace on it for $550 since he never shoots it any more.  I know it was a steal, but he won it in a raffle, so he's happy with the price plus I've made him plenty of deals over the years, so it works out.

I have an order coming from HB, Nexus, and Silencershop to transform the gun, and will post pics when done.

In anticipation for the parts, I did go ahead and started breaking it down.  Hearing the horror stories about the barrel nut, I dreaded doing it, but gave it a shot.  I don't have a 20mm wrench or the special tool, but tried giving it a go with a 13/16" wrench just to get a feel before going to an adjustable wrench. It popped loose without any real effort and came right off.  Based on the vids I've seen, it doesn't look like mine had any sealant on the threads.

I guess today was a good day.

Congrats and welcome to the club. Glad your barrel came off without much hassle. Mine too wasn't too bad either when I took it off way back when.
Have fun modding it up and making it your own. Fair warning, it can get expensive!

Thought I would pass this on.  I don't have one and haven't seen this anywhere else so can't say anything about the quality.  Some on this site report the company will substitute American made HK parts for German made HK parts.  At any rate something to consider if you are looking for 3 lug 18 x 1.  And on sale $40.00 + shipping.

CZ itself has done nothing. As far as I know, they don’t even acknowledge an issue. A company called Nexus started making bolts as a remedy to the issue. They are also suffering from the same issue.

I thought Nexus was the fix?

I bought a new striker block from them even though mine wasn't showing major issues

Is it their whole bolt, parts that are having issues?

Read for yourself:
OOB with Nexus Bolt

It appears it was caused by a hot/bad round.

Seems to me that whatever materials and process used to make the hammer needs to be applied to making the bolts...

Does anyone know where I can find one of these? CZ does not have these in stock. I bought my CZ Scorpion EVO 3 S1 Pistol new and it only came with a CZ Boresnake versus the cleaning kit. Also, it came with the front sight adjustment tool, a lock and the manual. But there was no Short Thread Protector 18X1. I need to to attach my suppressor properly.

Product Link

I appreciate your help.
