Moto G100 on android12
Motorola has one of the worst software update support schedules so mine won't get another version. When security updates stop I'll switch over to LineageOS |

Note 10+, Android 12. Still fully happy with it after over 2 years. I feel no urge to upgrade.

Android 9 because I'm still using a Galaxy S8+ after 4 years
I just ordered a refurbed Galaxy S20 FE though, which has Android 12 I believe. I can't see myself spending more than $200 on a phone. |

I love my Razer Phone 2 but it basically wasn't supported from day 1. |

I bought the G100 knowing that because I like the hardware and LineageOS was sure to support it. |

12 with android security update December 5, 2022.
Unfortunately, it's the last update that will be released for my phone. I'll probably get a new phone soon. |

I finally dumped Samsung.
Went with the OnePlus 11. Released in February. Android 13. Fantastic phone, btw. |

One thing I always forget to do is enable the microphone before calling someone. |

Quoted: One of the problems u might encounter by neckbearding an antique phone is that some apps (for me, specifically a banking app) will no longersupport the old version of Android you're using.... primarily BC of security updates. Quoted: iOS 16.3.1 iPhone master race checking in View Quote Being brutally honest, I have a work issued IPhone 11 with IOS 16.3.1, and my personal phone is an ancient Galaxy S10e with Android 11. Having used both, I can’t stand how non-intuitive, and how big of pain it is to do some things on the IPhone, compared to ease of use of Samsung and Android software. If given a personal iPhone for free, I’d still spend money on another Galaxy platform with Android. |

If given a personal iPhone for free, I’d still spend money on another Galaxy platform with Android. Agree with this 100%. I tried switching to iPhone because several family members have them. I expected it to be different. I did not expect it to feel like I was taking several giant leaps backwards in technology. It was truly surprising. I forced myself to stick with it and hold out for a while, but eventually the limitations caused me to tap out. Went back to my old, beat up Galaxy, and then purchased a new Android phone. Lesson learned. |

Mine said it updated to 9 last March. When I check for new updates, it says I'm up to date.... How do I get 12?

Galaxy S8 running Andriod 9. I do hope to get a new phone this year. The S8 has held up very well.

Quoted: Yesterday My phone updated to the Android Version 12. Has some additional cool features, some IDGAS about. My first Android phone was 4.4 LOL damn - a lot has changed since then. ETA: Should say I have a Moto one 5G Ace - had Android 11 on it when I bought it a year ago. Also: my phone is Verizon prepaid - super deal. View Quote I went from an S9 to S13 ultra and damn I'm surprised by the big leap. The camera far superior to anything in the mobile devices. I was blown away by the zoom. Objects a mile away looks like your you're right there. |

OnePlus 9 Pro running Android Oxygen 11.
