I'm 34 and I don't see a future either , and I'm pretty set. I fear for my daughter, her siblings and their future kids.
|

When the future seems grim, it's time to work on basic skills and buy some guns.
|
|
|
Not all of them. Some are determined to make a life for themselves.
Thread is doom porn, and the doomers will be flagellating up and down this mother. |
|
I've been pissed off since I got home from AFG.
Nothing that anyone on the left or right has done leads me to believe we are on anything but a downward slide into mediocrity and failure. |

I feel I'm set enough to be ok, but my fears and worries are entirely for my family. My wife, my kids, and their kids yet unborn. I haven't had a worry for my own well-being in years at this point. I'm fine, I'm a man, and even if shit isn't fine, I can take it because see point number 2. I can live in a hole in the ground and eat fucking squirrels for all I give a fuck. But my family is a different story. Everyone refuses to believe there's any problems because they have theirs but all I can think about is what kind of country my kids will grow up in and how they're horribly fucked unless there's a radical reorganization of govt and society at this point. I dread that revolution is their only hope of having anything worth a fuck. I fear that they'll grow up spitting and cursing my name for not doing more, at a time when many would likely look back and say it would have been easier to do so. |

They aren’t patient. If they’ve passed high school and don’t do drugs they’re in a better position than I was in my late teens and early twenties. They want a big house, two or three brand new vehicles and the same toys we usually get when we’re in our 40s and 50s. Plenty of good paying industrial jobs around here for someone with even half a work ethic.
|
|
I’m 50, I didn’t see a future in my early 20’s either lol.
Remember that write up someone did on reddit or some site a decade plus ago how porn had ruined what he wanted in a woman/dating? The Internet has done that to the younger crowd via IG/TT/YT. The Internet has been a blessing and a curse. |
|
There would be more if a future if they stopped supporting goat fuckers and welcoming half retarded border jumping criminals.
|
|
Yes, every fucking one of them. Absolute statements are dumb.
|
|
That's because, for them, there isn't one. Young people today are proper fucked.
|
|
fuck em...
its probably cause they expect everything to be handed to them.. |

I see plenty of future. And there will be a bunch to leave those who will outlast me. But I don't have a loser mentality either.

Depends. Some of my generation fits the typical GD assumption of what a Gen Z is. Some don’t. Me and my friends think things suck right now, but we know we’ve got to make shit work somehow. That being said, 10 out of 10 would not recommend trying to get a good life started right now.

They will eat bugs & have nothing and like it!
It has been decreed by the WEF. |

Self fulfilling prophecy.
The glass is half full and damned near every human on the planet would give everything they own to have a "poor" American's life. The power to create and destroy dreams is between your ears. |

View Quote This You hear about the pissed off underachievers, but you don't hear so much about the ones making the right moves to achieve wealth and an exceptional life. Most older people didn't start wealthy and privileged with a nice house. They earned it slowly over many years. I think the younger generations will be fine, but it will take hard work and time. |

The controls have been set to “extract more” for decades. We are starting to see the societal limits on how long that works.

I'm in my 40s and I don't see a real future either, at least not if we keep going this way.
I was a bit delayed in living and cultivating a career due to medical issues. I used to be angry about some of that, now I don't much care. But I also know that had I been healthy I would have made other choices. I also look at my life and society as this is really a scary but exciting time to be alive. What we decide to do next will impact those yet to be born. Don't rest on your laurels, and don't accept things as they are. The time is now. |

A bunch of spoiled brats. What they need is a good draft and a world war to show them how good they have it!

Honestly someone upstairs needs to just hit the galactic reset button.
We had a good ride but fucked it up in the end. Maybe the cockroaches will do a better job… |

Pretty much everyone else i. The world has had their turn in a big upset. We are due. I believe 87% of this country can see the BS that is bring pushed by the $hit% of this country to know in their deepest of hearts that the time is near.
Even the Potato said we can't trust them. Whats more to discuss. |

They don't "see" a future becuase they have been taught that everybody deserves everything at all times, with no effort needed or required to get everything they have been taught they "deserve".
You have to WORK for YOUR FUTURE...IT IS NOT HANDED TO YOU. This is the inevitable end to the path that started with not keeping score at little league games. |

My neighbor's kid started mowing lawns 2 years ago.
After the year was up he sold his garden tractor and paid cash for his zero turn, over 5 grand. Last he paid a friend or two to weed whip, then he paid cash for another zero turn mower and trailer to haul the stuff for this year. Over the winter he picked up side work doing lawn mower repairs because he likes to tinker with the machines. He got antsy and asked if he could start mowing my lawn 2 weeks earlier than normal. Been an easy winter and warm spring so the lawn needed it and I said yes. He's mowed it twice already. Cha ching. He told me he has an agreement with another neighbor to buy his pick up for cash. But he has to wait on the truck, he doesn't turn 16 until October. Haven't heard him whine yet about not finding any opportunities. His dad told me the kid set up his LLC this year because he's making so much money and has to pay lots of taxes. Probably have to hire an accountant. And he's also "hired" Dad as a temp helper. Plenty of work out there, it's just not desk jobs needing a tie and a smile. |

Social media is full of angry kooks, eliminate it completely or at least reduce it as much as possible from your life, you'll feel much happier. Seriously.

Buying your first house would suck big time ass right now/thread

All by design. It's the global agenda. It's up to us. Nobody is coming, and no one else is armed.

There's a YouTube guy that mows yards for free, mostly for old people, etc...
He has a bunch of clips of neighbors that confront him complaining that he should be doing their yard for free... its fucking bizarre but goes a long way toward understanding a whole class of voters... |
