The penalty should be subject to the decision of the state in which the person resides.

They should be forced to count how many ridiculous threads you start each day.

Yeah, Mmmmkay. I know plenty of people that drive and smoke. Last I checked the alcohol makes you stuble all over and crash cars when drunk. MJ doesn't do that. View Quote |

Nothing...
however any associated crime should have sever implications....robbing the store for Cheetos, loitering on the park bench...you know the typical weed behavior. |

Nothing..
From the looks of the pole, old farts gonna old fart... |

So long as it is used safely and responsibly (shooting, operating heavy machinery--includes cars, etc.), then it is none of the government DAMN business.
And no, I don't smoke weed, can't it causes my blood pressure to drop to life threatening levels. |

If you think filling up our jails with pot heads on our tax dollars is a good idea, than you are an idiot.

Recreational use? None
Driving while impaired? 5 years first offense, 20 years 2nd, 3rd offense death penalty. Immediate death penalty if anyone was killed or injured. I feel the same toward drunk drivers. |

The same as drinking alcohol. I know plenty of people that drive and smoke. Last I checked the alcohol makes you stuble all over and crash cars when drunk. MJ doesn't do that. The industry has figured out how to make very potent mj strains and highly efficient delivery systems. There should be penalties for failing field sobriety tests, regardless of substance ingested. BTW, are you aware that mj is a depressant, like alcohol? |
|
Bare minimum death penalty the first time, second offense they need to euthanize all direct family and sterilize all cousins to make sure the problem won't spread.
|
|
Wow. Over 82% of GD voters say no penalty for use. Maybe there is hope.

BS. I'm all for leaving the mj issue in the hands of states, but to say it doesn't negatively affect driving awareness/skills is ridiculous. How many people die alcohol related deaths even year?
We all know the answer to this is a very high number. How many people die marijuana related deaths every year? Alcohol will always be a hundred times worse than marijuana will ever be. Usually the worst thing that happens to any one smoking marijuana is getting caught with it. Just Saying |

Better question is why should there be a penalty for using marijuana?

Really? 80% nothing, 20% death?
Wow. Some of you can't contain your hate. |

They should be forced into hard labor as builders for the border wall between the USA and Mexico.

Isn't the slack jawed look stoners develop punishment enough? Well, that plus the stupidity and memory loss.
As far as legal punishment: None. |
|
zero tolerance; The Judge shall issue immediate execution order and commit sentencing on the spot.
nah, jk....perps should be made to smoke a bale on the spot.... |
|
|
I had to choose execution because I don't believe in jail for non-violent crimes
