John wick lacks a cool logo to place on 1911's, bro trucks and ARs. I say John Wick

Damn, OP. This is a tough one, The Punisher is my favorite comic book character but I also love John Wick. I'm gonna have to say it's a draw. They're both beat to hell, out of ammo and too tired to continue to fight so they resolve to call a truce and go their separate ways.

Seriously guys how would Wicks muscle car stand up against the Van? It kills people when he isnt even in it.
|

Pretty sure John Wick would kill The Punisher with a fucking pencil.
A. Fucking. Pencil. |

If you watch the Punisher movie Thomas Jane (?) has shit gun handling and technique compared to Keanu. Not even fucking close. Not. Even. Close.
I think most votes will be based on the cult following of either character. I don't follow comics at all so from a shooters perspective Wick all day every day. |

but who would be stupid enough to kill wick's dog, steal wicks car, drive across town & kill frank castles family I mean unless they had dirt on the Clintons View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

John Wick is like one fry short of being x-man. Baba yaga. His hate keeps him warm.

The Punisher is the boogeyman.
John Wick is the man you send to kill the fucking boogeyman. |

The Punisher has years of combat experience and valuable training with Marine Force Recon IIRC.
We don't yet know enough about John Wick's background and experience to make a determination, but I'd lean toward the Punisher. |

No movies or TV shows in recent history feature a punisher that could hold a candle Wick.
But if you are willing to dig deep and hit the 80s, Dolph F in Lundgren Punisher would crush him. Unfortunately overlooked by many, The 1989 The Punisher was made in an era when Marvel movies were at their peak in fantastic plot, dialogue, and production values, Compared to the current Marvel Universe that cannot compare. It also features Lundgren at the peak of his wealth of acting skills. |

View Quote They would fight until they're both beaten, bloody, and sweaty. One would have the other pinned against the floor, ready to kill him. There would be a pause as they breathe heavily and stare into each other's eyes. Then they would start making out. Welcome to Hollywood in the 21st Century |

Which Punisher? There are multiple variations of the character across TV, movies, and comics. The level of competence varies from writer to writer.
Going by the pictures alone. John Wick kills both. Thomas Jane version wasn't all that impressive. The Garth Ennis version is a Vietnam vet and would be pushing 65 by this point. |

Fucking Thomas Jane is NOT...NOR EVER WILL BE the fucking Punisher.
Of course the damned Punisher wins, you fools. |

Miculek.
He would shoot each of them once in the head, twice in the chest, reload, repeat, holster, check his timer, and laugh, before either of them cleared leather. |

Huge Punisher fan, not so much on Wick, but I gotta give this to Wick. Punisher is a normal human, highly trained and driven, but Wick, at least in the movies, is superhumanly good. He's nearly on par with Roland from Dark Tower in terms of accuracy and speed. Wick and the other assassins are like the guys from that movie "Wanted" who could curve bullets, modern day ninjas with "powers".
Not that I'd give any of them odds on Roland, mind you.... But I think Wick is a different level of power than Punisher. |

In a surprise hand to hand or handguns only type fight... I'd say John Wick has the advantage.
In an open conflict where they are basically at war... Punisher has just a lot more going for him. |

OOOOH I love both characters, so this would be hard.
Both can take an incredible beating and keep on coming. Both are one man armies. I would have to say it would be a bloodied draw, then they would realize they have so much in common they would team up to take down an epic evil organization, like the IRS, then part ways. |
|
John Wick destroys Punisher in all aspects of gunplay and hand to hand combat. Not even a contest here.

Wick seemed faster on the trigger, but Castle seems to have more heavy firepower and armor at his disposal.
Depends on the setting. Close up and personal, guessing Wick takes him. Medium to extended range and Castle wins. |
|
Since we are dealing with movie only characters, I say they team up and go stop a mud hole in movie midget Jack Reacher (not the book version) and call it a day.

Teal'c. Akimbo P90s, when he still had his symbiote.
I vote Wick, hands down. |
