Snubnose revolvers are of couse banned over here.
Fears that licenced sports shooters would carry them |

442 in ankle holster for 10+ years in uniform. PPK before that.
Sorry, no pics. |

I also have a 342Ti but it’s never been shot and remains in the padded case and factory packaging. I purchased it back around 1999 because I thought it was cool. I have a number of other small J frames including a 442 (which is not that much heavier) if I feel like shooting or carrying a .38 Special.

What are you going to do if Al Qaeda attacks and there are 5 terries? If you had an auto they would be obligated to wait in line while you had a gunfight with each one of them consecutively. But not if you have a revolver, obviously.

Miami_JBT: I have a S&W 342PD that I bought at B&B, N. Hollywood CA(yeah "just a hop, skip, & a jump" where 2 gunman had a shoot-out with LAPD years ago) just for laughs & giggles, one of the more expensive S&W guns in my collection.
Great shooting gun with my standard velocity wad cutters that I load. As you may know already, the little people can't do CCW in Los Angeles County. Later, I found that the 342 line is rather sought-after by LE throughout the US becaus many agencies are not too keen with S&W 340s and the word "357 mag" stamped on the frame. |

no pic, so I'll just rip off Bob's, but in the 442 version.
Attached File I have an ankle holster but I feel like I'm shufflin' like Frankenstein so I slip it in my rear pocket with an untucked shirt. |

It's also worth noting Homer Simpson's snub is named Mr Blasty

Well mine still looks new, no rust in the last 10 years. I have kept it well maintained, pocket carry all summer.

Slightly less snubby 637. Must have put a couple thousand wadcutters through it in the first few years I had it. Factory rubber grips started falling apart so I installed the Hogue one-piece, which is plenty comfortable, but a little snug on the Safariland speed loaders I like. Still gets carried occasionally, but not shot near as much as it should be. |

Quoted: My tried and true S&W Model 342Ti in .38 Special carried in my ancient Desantis three slot with a even more ancient Mixson Leathercraft six shot dump pouch that holds a loaded five speed strip perfectly. View Quote 342ti was the shortest owned gun I've ever had. Bought it in the morning, shot it, said "fuck all that", and sold it that afternoon. |

I love me a good snubnose.
Sadly my Glock 26 has once again taken over EDC roles. |

My 342Ti is probably the most carried for me. Though it does a good job of hiding wear.

They do get carried but they are not my primary carry pieces. . That duty falls on my Sig C3, Colt Combat Elite and gen 2 Glock 19, in that order. View Quote Nice.....60-7. That is the one to get. |
