President Donald Trump's pardons for the military contractors formerly with Blackwater who killed four Iraqi civilians violated the Geneva Convention, according to the United Nations Commission on Human Rights.
.. "Pardoning the Blackwater contractors is an affront to justice and to the victims of the Nisour Square massacre and their families," Jelena Aparac, the Chair-Rapporteur of the Working Group on mercenaries. .. "The Geneva Conventions oblige States to hold war criminals accountable for their crimes, even when they act as private security contractors," she added. "These pardons violate U.S. obligations under international law and more broadly undermine humanitarian law and human rights at a global level." Aparac continued, "Ensuring accountability for such crimes is fundamental to humanity and to the community of nations. Pardons, amnesties, or any other forms of exculpation for war crimes open doors to future abuses when States contract private military and security companies for inherent state functions." https://www.newsmax.com/newsfront/blackwater-pardons-geneva-convention-human-rights/2020/12/30/id/1003696/ Fuck the UN. |

The UN wouldn't recognize a human right if a human bit them in their collective globalist ass.
Countries are ultimately sovereign. I'm more concerned about the human rights that the UN and it's forces commit and will commit, than I am with the risks of sovereign nations doing things I do or not agree with. I have no clue if pardoning those contractors is just or not, but I'll defend the Presidents right to do it. Just like Obama had the right to release criminals "who could a been his sons" back into the street. Fuck the UN. |

If the UN has a problem it, let them deploy their army to do something about it.

I love being lectured by Europeans on morals. We had slavery the most recently? Oh really what empire pushed that in their triangle trade route. We have war criminals? You could fill the Library of congress with war crimes from Europeans from 1400 to 1995.

I wonder how much friendlier the UN would be if they didn’t have to deal with New Yorkers every day? What if the UN was in South Carolina?
