Water is still too cold for my old ass. We did go out yesterday to fish a bit, I’m giving the wife fly casting lessons. |

It does seem like we don't. But I don't have one right now and I specifically told the dock master to pull me aside if he sees me with her again. I have to find a new one. |

Saturday spent all day cleaning mine up and replacing stickers on it and replacing gear oil in lower unit. Started it up in the driveway and I shut it off pretty quick.
Took to the ramp on Sunday with the family... Started up and it ran for about 2 minutes then died... Wouldn't start again and back out of the water it came. Stupid boats... At least the Skis run. Attached File |

I need to be out on the water very soon. Getting close here!
Last time out last year was stuck in an RV watching it rain. Attached File |

If I lived closer to awesome waters and didn't work 8 days a week, I'd definitely be a boat bro
Tagging for my jealousy. |

They've brought the lake up 4' in the last two weeks, 8' more to go. Seems like they're refilling fast this year because the snow pack wasn't real deep and the danger from flooding is fairly low.
Boat goes back in about the third week in May. I can't wait, even if the water is too cold for swimming (for rational humans) until about the start of July. Only downside I see is boat gas...won't surprise me if it's over $7 a gallon this summer. Wife in traditional north Idaho April svimvear! Attached File Attached File |

Finally got my passenger seat re-upholstered, had a hole in the headrest and got a tear in the seat bottom somehow last year. Probably going to be an spendy spring for me though. I torched my knee in November and couldn't pull the batteries they are acting like they are charging so I hope they last the day.

One advantage of living on a lake with a dock and a lift is that boating season is any day I feel like going out.
Did my annual deep cleaning about a month ago. |

Quoted: It's honestly early. I don't have conditioned cabins like @LexConcord and @CyberSEAL so I have to wait for nice days. It was unseasonably warm today (mid-80s) so it seemed like a nice idea on a slow work day. Water is still only 60. View Quote |

View Quote Viking? Kept my SeaRay there years ago. Bought a place in Mystic. Great marina. Breezes gets a bunch of my $. |

I've got to finish cutting new plywood decking for my 14' aluminum Blue Bird. It's a fun little boat to explore creeks off bigger rivers.

Just was out in the barn waxing my little kencraft 239. We have been boating consistently for the past few weeks
I got a new work boat, an Axopar 37 should be here in a few weeks. Pretty excited about that one! |

Have about a month or so before the river ice breaks up.
Need to find a lower unit for the zuk and new steering gear for the flat boat. Tempted to get hydraulic steering for the flat boat as it is hard to steer. |

If I can ever get @AndBen to get out for a boat ride, we could even revive the oyster wars |

We're heading down to Davis harbor in Eleuthera on Saturday for 8 days. Last year we crushed the dolphin down here. Boat's fueled up and ready to go.

Heck yeah! Waiting to get the bellows done but it won't be long. The ole girl (2005 Crownline) is still bumping along. Can't wait for some sunshine and cruising.

We're on a spring fed lake with a boat in the water. Water temp has to be at least 84-86 for my cracker ass to go in. May, June? We will see. |

User name definetly checks out. |

Yep. Will be between OBX and Ocean City most of the summer in prep for the White Marlin Open.

It's still a bit early here, but I look forward to floating some sections of good fishing rivers here. |
