"Hell Freezes Over" 1st-of-each-month Contest
915 It came down to a Sudden Death Playoff between DernHumpus and sleepercaprice1 ... DernHumpus was pulled out of the number generator yet a second time and walked with it all. Sleepercaprice1, sorry 'bout your close game, but send me you address too. Those folks need to pick yet another whole integer. Sorry guys, but we're figuring out the rules right here and now for all of eternity, so ... if no one has that number, we instantly pick another until we find someone or a crowd that does. M. LaRue Bloencustoms threw this rules list together for us and I want to hold it here for discussion ... did he miss anything ???

You're the man, Mark!
PS - Who can we contact to bribe accordingly? Doc |

If you're NOT a Team Member now would be a great time to purchase a membership and get in on this action!
What he said. |
Edit. Delayed double tap.
Join the Team for a sweet chance. Or don't and give me a better chance. |
I am a team member and have been for years.. But i'm not allowed to enter...
But like the other guys said... pony up on membership and take your chances!!!! |
hey stop posting your numbers in here. there's the official thread for that.
So why are you guys posting numbers in this thread? The contest is that way ---->
And I'm glad I'm a team member. :) |
Probably can't ship the upper to England. |
He taint in the US of A. |
He lives in the UK. |
Enter I'll ship to ya if you win |
Is there some significance to the number 367? I just made it up, but when I went through the thread afterwards I found that I was the third to post it.
Done. Tagged.
And if I might make a suggestion. How about a tally sheet that's updated with what numbers have been picked, updated "when someone gets around to it" but hopefully every day. What happens if two people pick the same number and it wins? I'm sure that 223 and 556 will be picked multiple times. Could someone code up a "pick your square" application and host it? Nothing really fancy, just find your number and stake it out with your name on it. That way, people can pick numbers that haven't been picked yet without having to wade through thousands of posts. I placed both my bet and my order with Larue today! I can't wait for my new 13.2 rail, Magpul grip, CTR stock, rail covers, and pmags!
I had to edit my post....I am an ass.....I hate myself.......I will now eat worms.....as I sit in the corner......painting with poo......gargeling glass......rocking back and forth.....mumbeling......suffering a meltdown......calling in from work......
I shall now pour a nice Crown Royal AM bevy and lick my wounds. |
Enter and give it to me -- I'll send you something else cool if you win. No joke. |
Hey Mark,
Even though I'm deployed, I can still win right? You can mail it to my address at Fort Bragg. Am I still qualified to enter? |
can't believe someone else picked 613. That's pretty random if he ain't Jewish!
So of course I went to bed early last night then saw my note about the drawing this morning. So the thread of numbers hit 19 pages so I pick my number that I already chose in advance hoping no one posted it yet post it and go back to look through the picks to find it again on page 3.
At least there is another pick if there is a tie.----> good luck to everyone. |
While I can't speak for Mark, after seeing the way he has treated service members in the past I can't hardly believe he would say no... Also, Mark I've attempted to send you several emails with a question and never got a response... |
what happens if there are 1000 people posting numbers today? Are you still going to let it run for 7 days and just let it fill up with duplicate numbers?
I'm waiting on activation, so I posted anyway. I mailed my cash 2 weeks ago, I can't understand why the activation takes so long.
i always feel so lost in these larue contest threads. i never have any idea what's goin' on.
Oh hell yeah you're in. We'll hold it until you come of deployment. Might have a rather large function-fired round count by then. ML |
All I know is, Mark, you are one hell of a guy and if I ever have the chance to meet you, I would like to buy you a beer. |
First in with it. |
Just use a card it's way easier...and instant. |
Agreed For now, I'm patiently waiting for the 7th... |
I wasn't gonna read 29 pages looking to see if my number had already been used.
I realize you said there'd be a tie-breaker for duplicate numbers, but I have zero problem giving the prize to the first poster if my number happens to be a duplicate. |
Mark, I was gonna post about this earlier. There is no doubt that there are going to be a bunch of duplicate numbers. Just my humble opinion, but I think that the tiebreaker should go to the first poster of the winning number(based obviously on time and date of their UNEDITED post) not a second random tiebreaker drawing. You would be penilizing the original poster. Just MHO, and thank you for doing this giveaway |
Alright I finally ponied up and got the membership. Now where's the contest?!?
Seriously...I cant seem to find where "Team" forums are.....help me out here
Click on the word "GENERAL" between "TRAINING" and "OUTDOORS" below the mnfs links. its halfway down the listings with a red "R" beside them. The contest is in LaRue's forum though inside "INDUSTRY" |
