Do you put your belt on clockwise (loop to right of fly first) or counterclockwise (loop to left of fly first)?

CCW.
OP is from Missouri and maybe confused. Do Yankees put on their belts clockwise? |

Who's the commie pinko who picked clockwise? Fess up so we can pummel you with insults before demanding your man card and voting you off the island

CCW, and right-handed.
Isn't the direction usually determined by whether the wearer is left- or right-handed? |

Are we looking at the clock from above or below, and facing away or toward the body?

So since its gender controlled direction, What way would a tranny put on their belt?
|
|
counter clockwise
if I lose my head I can still pull the belt tighter as a tourniquet unless below the equator...then your international gig line switches |

I'm left handed so I go from left to right. Not sure if that makes a difference?

It depends.
Does the tail end continue direction when going through the buckle? If yes, CCW. Does the belt double back on itself when going through the buckle? If yes, CW. The tail end of the belt is supposed to finish going CCW. |
|
CCW , but I skip the first loop to the left of the fly.
This allows the buckle to be offset and helps keep the end of the belt off my 2;30 positioned kydex holster. |

Running end extends to the wearers left, just how the army taught me

The most tactical way possible.
Counterclockwise so my belt can be drawn as a whip as my fifth back up weapon |

No particular reason for going counter clockwise, but I did forever.
Then, I got a concealed carry permit and started wearing stuff on the belt on the right, and it suddenly became more convenient to take a holster on and off. Once in a while I used to wear a belt-attached knife, in that case it was on all day and left side was fine. |

Counter.
Except when I was in, the mcmap belt goes clockwise because the buckle makes the end double back, so it appears to be "correct". It is a royal PITA (being a lefty) when I use a belt holster, but 99% of the time they are clip on. So no big deal. |

Northern Hemisphere first loop left of fly.
Southern Hemisphere first loop Right of fly. Coriolis Effect |

The way pants fasten, threading the belt to the right doesn't work. Its just wrong!
