In the last few years it's been pretty tough to find a good character movie with good dialog.
I actually liked Rogue One, and I think my favorite all-time is Best Years of our Lives. |

Shane has So many lessons. The older I get the more I appreciate them. View Quote |

Rogue One really caught me by surprise. I was not expecting that. Because of that departure from the normal, I'm really looking forward to the next "off year" Star Wars film.

Yeah, I remember realizing that the wife actually had the hots for Shane a little bit, and the husband knew it. Then Shane realizes he's right in the middle and has to go, but needs to stay. Complex show. View Quote They'll probably have Shane as a gay with the dad trying to suck his dick |

Scent of a Woman

while I liked Rogue One, it's the definition of 'zero character development'

She never transcends from a selfish juvenile to someone who see the true nature of her father (a character loaded with complexities) and throws all she is and has after the same effort? How about all the other members of her final team? They were established throughout the show as men who carried massive guilt for all the bad things they've done for a good end. They walked onto that last transport knowing it was a one-way trip, but they were desperate for a 'clean' and noble cause for their final act. Not only that, but they understood that the only way it would work was to go out fighting to the end. Even all the supporting characters were developed. We knew each of their motives, fears and perspectives. Even the empire leaders and scientists. Please describe the motives of Han Solo. It's pretty weak. |

Scarface?
Lol many Pacino movies here. Some might not agree, but how about the matrix (first one) |
