Madoff was a major democratic campaign contributor
Madoff Made Hefty Political Contributions to Top Officials It reads like a who's who of liberal Democrats: Clinton, Corzine, Dodd, Schumer, Kerry, Markey, Rangel, Bradley, Lautenberg ... and yes, even Obama. View Quote plus John McCain as a bonus. Burn in HELL Bernie! Sorry your boys had to suffer you as their father |

Everyone dies. Everyone. And we are all held accountable for our actions whether in this life or after.

My late uncle Harry once said "Bernie Madoff took the risk out of risk arbitrage."
Harry was a very smart and funny man. |

That's weird, thought he died years ago
Ahh, it was that Enron cocksucker |

Thank you, Bernie, for inspiring Chevelle to write "Face to the Floor"

View Quote He paid out exactly 12% returns annually year after year for decades, regardless of where interest rates were or what the stock market was doing at the time. Multiple people on Wall Street filed complaints to the SEC and gave interviews to the financial press saying that there was no way that this could be anything other than a scam. Nothing was done and people who should've known far better gave him their life savings. Fuck him, but it's honestly hard to feel bad for his victims either. |

I didn't vote for him anyway.
He had that one good meme. That's the one, right? |

How is soros still alive?
Unfortunately I think he has even worse behind him when he goes. |

Ever since he got out-ponzi-ed by the US Congress with the last year's worth of spending ... well, he sort of lost relevance.
Like tears in rain. Time to die. |

People took the wrong lesson from his Ponzi scheme.
The lesson is that if you’re in the elite, you can get away with obvious fraud for a LONG time. That guy used his influence to turn the regulators against his accusers and shut down investigations. Only when the losses and excesses were too great to hide that he was finally uncovered. If it wasn’t obvious already, the entire system is corrupted and we’re experiencing a society more like “They Live”, where the connected take care of each other at our expense. |

Natural causes of did someone stick a shiv in him a few dozen times? Either way the world is a better place because he destroyed so many lives.

I've gone pheasant shooting once or twice with a guy that helped break the Madoff case. He wrote a book on Madoff. In fact, he tried bringing Madoff's crimes to the SEC's attention before the feds finally got interested. Interesting guy, extremely smart. To say that when the feds finally listened he was a bit twitchy considering the amount of money involved is putting it lightly.
