Who do you vote for ?
Inspired by the Trump running 2024 thread.. I honestly don't think I can hold my nose again and vote for another Demopublican. |
|

I'd vote for DeSantis, but would have no problem voting for Trump either.
That said, no "Trumpian" candidates will run if Trump announces. He'll mostly clear the field just by announcing. There will likely be a couple of NeverTrump wannabes running, but they won't matter. If Trump runs, then the nomination is his. DeSantis would be the obvious VP pick. |

Either, they need to team up. Trump's rally was massive yesterday.
|
|
Desantis. Younger, better speaker, doesn't have years of dirt/baggage that the fake media can use, doesn't compromise on issues, doesn't scare away normies, proven track record of success in Florida.

|
DeSantis has a better chance of winning the General election.

View Quote IMO, not going to win a general by getting the votes from people that were already voting party lines, you need to sway soccer moms and minivan husbands. I mean if Trump wins the primary, I will probably vote for him(yet again) but prefer not to because he is a Democrat operative |

Will people who did not vote for Trump (and voted for Biden) in 2020 vote fir Trump in 2024?
|
|
Trump was ineffective at fighting the swamp. Just look at how he completely fucked 2020 by not fighting lockdowns, printing 20% of the dollars in existence to that point, and letting BLM burn cities. Then he doesn't pardon the Jan 6 people on the way out. No thanks, not again.

It doesn’t matter. DeSantis will only run if Trump bows out.
|
|
|
Pointless pole.
DeSantis has made it clear he won't run if Trump is and Trump made it clear that he is. |

I'd vote for the conservative that does conservative things.

If true, we must accept Soros and Fink as our lords and saviors because the election is over before it even begins. |

Trump should not run, hes too old. I won't vote for anyone that should be retired.

Quoted: Will people who did not vote for Trump (and voted for Biden) in 2020 vote fir Trump in 2024? View Quote It's early of course, but it seems an awful lot of people are having buyer's remorse. And the Democrats are having some big problems with the Hispanic vote right now. Much of it will depend upon what the economy looks like in 2024. If inflation is still an issue, then yeah, I think a decent number will switch, because there's no denying that the pre-Covid economy under Trump was better than anything that the Dems can cook up. The question of course is whether enough people will switch to overcome the margin of theft in the handful of swing states that matter, because for the most part they haven't fixed the issues that led to the first theft. |

Quoted: It’s pretty simple. Hatred for Hillary, and optimism for his business acumen and ‘draining the swamp’ was strong enough in 2016 that he captured enough of the swing vote to win. In 2020 he didn’t. His base was always there. View Quote Very true. And Trump was terrible at execution. He could talk a big line, but his follow through was pathetic. Also the more I read about his presidency, the more I find how his administration was always in chaos. You can’t always hire “the very best people” and then fire them 6 months later and call them “low IQ losers.” Trump is a fraud and needs to go away into the sunset. |

As much as I like the idea of Trump being back in the Whitehouse, I don't think the country needs another 4 years of witch hunting.

People showing up to his rallys matters in that it reflects what voters think of him. |

Part of me wants Trump to have a chance to correct his errors but most of me really likes Desantis

DeSantis in the Primary. Either DeSantis or Trump in the General.

There used to be a day when the dems worried about this, but that day is long gone. Now theyll put up any pos and the media will cover for them. I want the perfect candidate too, but its way past time to stop picking over minor imperfections. |
