OCPs or the new IHWCU?
I just picked up a set of the IHWCUs and while light I think the OCPs are cut better In almost 18yrs of playing USAF the OCP is probably my favorite uniform followed by BDUs/DCUs ABUs were straight up sadness |

100% hot weather's.
The cut is way better on them. They are a little tighter across the chest but have much better shoulder room, and the weird expanding shoulder seams on the regular uniform are gone. Those seams are supposed to sit where your shoulder blades move, but they never fit me right. I find the hot weather much more flattering. The regulars kind of billow over the stomach and the hots are more flat. |

For my time in...
OCP>BDU>DCU>absolutely anything else>ABU Have never heard of the latter one so no idea where that'd fall |

I wore the best. And that was the Battle Dress Uniform. Everything that has come after has looked like it was taken off a gang banger who looked like he was role playing an army man.

They would fade in 3-4 years but they didn't rip. View Quote 3-4 years? Damn, I was lucky to get a year out of them in the Marines. I don’t know if it was the salt water or what. Of course they were washed constantly. |

Woodland top and chocolate chip bottoms.....for out fall tn woods

BDUs. I think the the new hot weather uniforms kinda look like the old maternity uniforms. OCPs are fine though and I am in hot weather all the time.

OD green . The cotton ones, unstarched were better in the field. Starched when you needed to look good.

Obviously the pajamas, er, flight suit. With sunglasses. Just don't interrupt my crew rest.

I had three choices when I was in the Army in the mid 80's, BDU's, Jungle Fatigues, or Flight suit depending on the day.

MARPAT because Marines are a part of the military, not just the Army OP

My first 3 years it was the OD green pickle suit. I was out for 8 and went back in to BDU's and a flight suit. 20 years worth. I bailed just before what ever came next.

I wore BDUs, DCUs, and ACUs when I was in.
My favorite were DCUs, but that may be just because I enjoyed that time in the most. My first unit wore DCUs full time, even stateside. There were things I liked about the ACU and things I didn't. Hated the velcro for holding pocket flags closed, that was absolutely moronic. I like the look of multicam a whole lot more, but that came out shortly after I got out. The black beret went away like ten years ago too didn't it? Lucky bastards. I hated that stupid thing. |

Still want a wet weather OCP jacket for duck hunting. Had to retire out wearing the stupidest shit the AF ever wore...the ABU Airman can't wait to say goodbye... |

The hot weather OCPs are the go-to when I have to wear a ground uniform. |

Quoted: I wore prison uniforms in the military for twenty years. Sure as shit, as soon as I retired they went to a more comfortable, better looking, more military uniform. They went to the NWU's in our area about 10 months before I went on terminal leave. I still bought the full set just because. |

I wanted to keep them, but they were really smelly. I think they got moisture/mold in storage |

The new hot weathers are nice.
All time fav were 100% cotton rip stop BDUs. With button side tabs. Wearing green jungle boots, of course. |
