Are you 27 and she is 30? Or are you 48 and she is 51? Either way I'm not sure that three years makes a big difference.

3yrs is nothing unless you are in high-school. Then its awesome! ( I would assume )
Wouldnt bother me a bit if she met my criteria for personality and I was attracted to her. Dont over think it. |

Three years isn't too bad. Especially as an adult.
My wife is 4 years younger than I. Real differences are music references from teen years and such. But 25 years into our marriage its not something I notice. |

Older is definitely the wrong way, unless you're like 18... but for the right woman I could make an exception.

My wife of 30 years is three years older. Not an issue.
Historically, i’ve dated older women since high school—they tend to be less drama oriented & like sex. When I was 16, people/women thought I was like 25. When I tried dating my age & younger women, some clicked, some didn’t. It’s part of life. That’s my experience. |

UNLESS, she's like 35 and wants a kid very soon (or will, after she get comfortable and starts nesting, trusts you, and all that other good stuff) and you're 32. And that's not a bad thing, I'm just saying - if she's in a spot where some things in life need to happen pretty quick, keep that in the back of your mind. If you like the idea, hey go for it.  If you're thinking you don't want to have kids and start a family very soon? And she does? Tell the truth, do what's right, let her go get someone who does. If you're say, 27 and she's 30? or 28/31? Depending on where you are in the country, this is about the age block where people are on their second child, she's been to a few weddings at this point,etc. She miiiiiiight want things to move a smidge faster than you might want them to Overall? Not so bad. Get to know the lady in front of you, ask her questions, find out who she is, what she's like, what she wants out of life. Might work out nicely! |
