Is this the year for the Glock carbine?????

I just hope there is a good thread with pictures. I'm not going to watch a bunch of 7 minute videos full of asshats blathering and pimping their channels, all for 12 seconds worth of images and information that matters.
And I'm sure as fuck not watching any ARFCOM videos that involve that unprofessional, cringeworthy "spokesperson". |

Glock had a chance. Back when keltec only made 300 sub2000s a year, before ruger PCs, European 9mm pccs, PSA $400 9mm ars, and the plethora of other 9mm guns around.

Hopefully some announcements this week now that the Holidays are over.

Quoted: Beretta is suppose to be releasing a little bit cheaper (than the hard to find, $1300 or more, 1301) semi auto tactical shotgun. I’m guessing around $900 but that’s pure speculation. Beretta has partnered with Magpul to release a 1301 with Magpul furniture too. https://i.ibb.co/RDxK9wK/4-EB8-C5-A6-E115-4-CC0-9686-E0-D384742801.jpg View Quote Oooooo not even a big shotgun guy but that is nice! |

I'm prepared to be underwhelmed. There's little upside anymore to cramming your new product announcements into the crowded SHOT space with everyone else, especially when a social media campaign can reach more people faster.
My predictions: - FN is high on their own farts and will continue their efforts to make HK look like the low-cost offering - Glock will announce nothing new but we'll all speculate endlessly - Magpul will have new sunglasses and a knife they only made 7 of - Sig will have the umpteenth variation of the Sig MCX available for people to look at, but not buy, since they also only make 7 of them a year - Century will release another renamed US-made AK in their line of poorly-designed guns, while simultaneously claiming there's no demand for the better Romanian ones - CZ/Colt will look like the bad guy at the end of RoboCop that got doused with the toxic sludge, offering some weird products that no one asked for or wants - Beretta will be wandering the show, confused, claiming they don't make guns and they aren't sure how they ended up there What I want from 2023: - More variations on the Springfield Hellion/VHS-2 line - More neat stuff from IWI - I think the Carmel is a real possibility - PSA to make a 5.45 RPK and 5.45 ammo - More roller locked guns from PTR |

Anything about what Pulsar or thermal scopes might be releasing this year?
|
|
Every year I hope we will see a fusion scope with separate channels for under $10k from a solid company.

I just hope Trijicon steps up their RMR game and offers some innovation like the Holosun SCS. I'm getting a couple of new Glock MOS pistols this year and would like to put a Trijicon on each.

I just want an SVD that isn’t more than 2500 dollars. I feel like that should be achievable.

Quoted: Not going. Vegas has become too anti 2A View Quote Was just thinking this. We hate Black Rifle and some refuse to even shop places that sell it. Yet an entire industry rushes to a city that hates us and forks of millions of dollars in revenue to places that actively fight against the guns they are pushing at the show. The gun industry is its own worst enemy. We stand up and boycott for off the wall shit but then ignore shit that actually matters and where a boycott would make a huge difference |

Regardless if you like We Like Shooting or not, the most interesting thing to me about Shot Show 2023 is finding out that they are engaged in bitch level cancel culture....
SHOT Show's Dirty CANCEL CULTURE Secret TLDW - Shot Show (Convex - their organizer) has banned people over bitchy stuff posted on Facebook - that had nothing to do with ShotShow. In this case someone who said something about HiPoint, who also works with HiPoint, and HiPoint wanted them unbanned and thought the whole action of Convex was rediculous. |

https://www.beretta.com/en-us/92xi-sao/ Beretta 92XI SAO, was "leaked" by whoever and Beretta found out and killed the link. The only thing I can think of in terms of a new "tactical" shotgun cheaper than the 1301 would probably be based off the A300 Ultima. In a TFBTV interview with the GM, it seems like they were open to the idea. 20 minutes 35 secs in. James Reeves Interviews Beretta's GM, Carlo Ferlito I'm hoping the PMX-S finally arrives on US shores. |

I'll bite. Why? 2032 are cheaper, easier to find, offer amazing battery life, are not prone to leaking, and have a significantly smaller footprint than a CR123 I'd like to say that it's something practical like battery life (in exchange for size - the M4S is still my favorite). But it's mostly the OCD factor of standardizing to one battery type since pretty much everything else I'm using that takes a battery takes CR123s. |

fuck... I forgot about shot show.... my barrel is going to take forever to ship now.

With things slowing down sales wise I'm betting we'll see some cool stuff companies have been sitting on a few years. At least I hope so.

My predictions for Shot Show ?
I will get to spend several days amongst guns, gear and ( mostly ) like minded gear. I will get to spend several nights enjoying Vegas nightlife. And my gal is coming with me to keep me entertained. Its all good. |

There was a post about new Taurus revolvers on TFB that was up for a short time before being disappeared.
They had a .500, a .460, an "exec series" Judge, and optics ready .357s with Holosun K cuts. |
