Daughter just caught a bunch of these on a pumpkin.
What are they? Central Ohio. In before the bugs from Heat.

I think those are the bugs that may carry Chagas disease. Not sure, though.
ETA: Do they look like these? https://kissingbug.tamu.edu/ There is also a stink bug that looks similar, but has a fatter, less elongated body. |

Not Stink Bugs. Have them here too, central Ill. Just the last couple of years. This year is definitely a bit thicker.

I'm pretty sure these are boxer eld bugs. Look at their face up close and see if it looks like this.

Squash bugs. Will eat squash, zucchini, cukes, pumpkins .
Adults do not respond to pesticides much
