The Cola Warrior Southeast you knew and loved is dead. Long live Cola Warrior Southeast. **Please read everything below as this is not a copy paste from other events or previous years and things have changed** You will be provided with a challenging course, peeps, an outhouse, and basically nothing else. This is a "bring your own everything" event. There will be no donations, no food, no water, and we are not asking sponsors for prizes though we will not be turning them away if they choose to provide them. You will pack everything that you need in, and out, when you leave. Pictures of the terrain and distance from parking to the site will be provided closer to the event. This event is on a mountain and is not handicap accessible. There are no services. You are responsible for yourself and anyone you bring. Your time will be recorded via Sharpie marker on a used pizza box. You will truly be roughing it for this event. Due to the nature of the terrain and lack of infrastructure, please do not bring small children. If you are amenable to these conditions, continue reading. **Open to any and all previous Cola Warrior vets, winners, and losers. First come first serve. We will entertain 40 entrants on the main list and 10 standby entrants this year since it is an entirely new venue** If this is your first Cola Warrior event you need to be sponsored/recommended by an existing Cola Vet attending the event. If a Cola Vet's +1 violates the rules and is asked to leave, they (the Cola Vet) may be asked to accompany their +1’s departure. If you're new and without a Cola Vet sponsor contact me via PM. When: July 18-20 2024 Where: near Hollytree, Alabama. Address to be sent to entrants via email. Why: Because you aren't afraid of a challenge and want to know how you stack up against your peers. Accommodations: There will be primitive camping on site. No campers or trailers. No power and no water. No vehicles will be allowed past a certain location on the road (it will be marked) and you will carry all of your gear, food, water, and anything else you require for your time with us to the site. Anything you bring in will be packed out with you, including any trash. I'm saying this twice so no one is surprised. Event Swag: shirts and patches will be available for purchase via cash at the event. Artwork will be posted here once the designs are finalized. We're not mailing anything before or after the event so if you want a shirt and/or patch and can't make it, have someone pick them up for you. Unlikely to make it, but awfully interested.
Good luck, we're all counting on you. |

Damn, right in the middle of my brother's wedding in MT. I really wanted to make this one this year

87% in. Combat class - the only way to jihad.
Have warred on Cola many times. |

Sounds awful. I didn’t see anything about Banjo music or “turn onto the dirt road” or “go cool off in the river”.
All I read was suffering, regret, and re think your life decisions. So… uh… what time is everyone getting there.l?! |
|
So if if get banned for life, bring your Can Cannons and send me out with a bang.
Only if I get banned otherwise I’m IN! That and slave labor too. |

When you say
"ALL ITEMS EXCEPT CLEARED PISTOL AND RIFLE WILL BE CARRIED ON BODY THROUGHOUT ENTIRE COURSE, TO INCLUDE PEEPS AND BEVERAGES. THE CLEARED RIFLE AND PISTOL MAY BE DROPPED TO DO OBSTACLES. NV RUNNERS MAY CHOOSE TO DO OBSTACLES WITHOUT NV ON." Does that mean we are running with our camp gear and food/water on us as well? Screw combat that's fallout class. |
