From coleslaw to sauerkraut, anything made with cabbage is great.
I'll add even those cabbage pizza crusts can be good when done right. |
|
|
I'll eat it on a BBQ sandwich but not by itself.

Lots of good slaw recipes out there from sweet/creamy to vinegar/spicy. Shredded over fine chop for me.

Not a fan. I love sauerkraut and take no issues with cabbage, but never found a coleslaw that gets me excited.

I do.
It is one of my favorite things to eat. There is a fish place near downtown Dallas, that has such good slaw, I get two sides of it with dinner. |

Quoted: Me, but doing keto so it's kind off the table View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Coleslaw can be keto. I made some yesterday to go with BB Ribs. I'll use the leftovers tomorrow for slaw dogs. I make ... - regular coleslaw - coleslaw with ginger - coleslaw with red bell pepper - blue cheese coleslaw Quoted: I like the long shredded way better than the fine chopped. Agreed |

I like good coleslaw. I could eat it with anything or by itself. KFC, Smithfields C&BBQ and a small place
about a half hour away are the best ones near me. |
|
Will eat that shit up with saltine crackers and some fresh ground black pepper.
|
|
I make mine by shredding the cabbage with an old Robot Coupe food processor.
Try adding a shredded granny smith apple to it. Really nice addition, and the dressing prevents the apple from browning. |

I called it "cold slop" when I was a kid. I'm not sure how old I was when I learned that wasn't the real name

OP's looks edible. Usually dripping with disgusting amount of white goop.

My favorite: thick slices of hot dry-rub pork shoulder roast on a good roll with coleslaw piled in.

Slaw goes great on hotdogs, sausage dogs, pork bbq sammies. Especially if it's a vinegar based slaw.
|

I haven't met too may slaw's I didn't like...Go easy on the sugar...

I like it, but not too soggy.
Like potato and egg salads. Potato has to be mustard though. |

No better hotdog than one topped with chili and coleslaw.
They're just delicious |

It’s either good or bad - by dressing type or recipe for dressing. How much dressing can make
A big difference |

I’m a huge Cole slaw fan, but what you posted ain’t it.
I love cabbage and I try the Cole slaw everywhere that I eat out. It can make or break a bbq meal for me. Good bbq is good bbq. But if they’ve got good slaw, it takes it to another level. And a good bbq restaurant that half asses the sides loses points with me. |
|
I could definitely eat cole slaw with dinner every night.
My last meal on death row will probably have a side of cole slaw. |
