I’m taking a look at rainers 14.5 inch select barrel.
Anyone have one and want to give a review? Particularly in the accuracy department? Do they make any accuracy guarantees on these barrels? Thanks! |

You can't lose...our Craftsmanship Guarantee:
We are so confident in the craftsmanship of our barrels, if our barrel doesn’t outshoot your similar priced barrel, send it back for a full refund. While most companies strive for faster production time to cut cost, we strive only for quality. They are great shooters. While you may not get the cloverleafs that our UltraMatch barrels can produce, you'll achieve MOA or better with these shooting match ammo. |

Yeah, but who makes the blanks and who contours and chambers? A little opaque

Nonetheless we stand by our barrels and guarantee them as such. |

I can understand why you dont want to put it out there. Buzz gets out that they are shooters and other companies copy you.
I will say i have never been let down by a Rainier barrel. Both the ultra match and match ones i have bought are lasers |

They never have the barrels, and can't give an update on when they'll have them back. With as much stuff sold out everywhere as there is right now, I'm not really sure why they can't tell anyone. It's not like they haven't made their money... Or will be able to get them again, anyway. It makes me wonder if it's because it's a cut rate vendor, with a marked up product. Like something that you wouldn't buy, if it was branded. |

For the life of me, I don't understand how revealing who makes your barrels, threatens your business and livelihood, if you've entered into a partnership. Unless you weren't savvy enough to cite some degree of exclusivity. But that just makes it weirder. If I were under contract with a premium barrel supplier, I'd paint it in the stars. Plenty of other companies do, and they are just as sold out as you are. ;) |

I have an older one, I think it was the select barrel. 14.5", 5R rifling midlength. In terms of accuracy, all I can say is I won RECCE division in the 2020 Geissele Gas Gun Series with that barrel. Made my longest confirmed hit at 813yds.

If one were so inclined to do some research, one could probably learn something. But I've seen a lot of companies also listing the same term, for different firearm types. |

I bought a select series 10.5" Nitride 5.56 bbl awhile back and finally getting around to an upper build for it.
Looking forward to getting it out and seeing what she'll do once the weather warms a bit here in Ohio. Truth be told, I'm just looking for a decent group print @ 100. I'm sure it'll work out fine. Do appreciate RA helping out the 2A community for sure! Carry on |

CAUTION:
For everyone who buys the "Ultramatch" barrels from Rainier - the latest batch was rushed, and has some really serious quality issues. I couldn't get a muzzle device on my latest barrel from them, and they gave me the runaround on an exchange. First, they sent me a shit barrel, and then wouldn't make any concession on swapping it out. Wanted me to send the barrel or my upper in, on a build that was slated to go out the next week. I purposely delayed the build, until I had barrel in hand. They wouldn't send me either a washer, or a new barrel, with a return label to swap the old one, given my situation. They lied to me, told me they had no more barrels, and didn't know when they would be back in. (they're still in stock) Gave me every excuse, and inconvenienced me to the max, after sending me garbage. I sent them pics, and it was confirmed to me that there was a defect. I got the general impression from the conversation, that the whole batch had the same defect. Any other company that I've done recent business with, makes these kinds of mistakes right. Not only this, but when I posted a negative review of the product, they didn't approve it on their website. (they have blocked it) I should have paid attention to all of the complaints on the sub-Reddit about the customer service. Never again BUYER BEWARE!!! |

I posted the topic as a standalone, but it was deleted - presumably because it was detrimental, and more visible than a buried reply. I can't seem to leave a negative review of the product on your website, either. Only the good ones stick. |
