I knew of the existence of of the LT719s, but there are a few things about them I don't like.
There is no locking lever on either ring. I am of the opinion there should be a locking lever on each ring.
They are too low. I use Badger M40A3 rings on one of bolt guns, they are 1 inch height, and a 56mm objective just BARELY clears the top of the barrel.
Lastly, I would like a 6 bolt ring pattern (3 to a side).
Plus, I am not a fan of QD rings. QD mounts are great, but QD rings don't do it for me.
The LT807 (1.375 height) is the best available option, but that is too high.
I know I am being ultra picky, but I like what I like and what I think works the best.
Given ML's eventual entrance into the bolt gun market with the Siete (please do a 6.5 Creedmoor with a 1/8 twist), I was trying to suggest some new products that would appeal to the serious bolt gun crowd.
I am a LaRue enthusiast, and there is no other AR than a LaRue AR
And, I run LaRue mounts on all of my Larue rifles.
But if I picked up a Siete, there isn't a LaRue scope mounting product that would fit my needs.
