RISII with the 14.5 mid gas and new ambi lower would be sweet. Any plans to release this?

Can you please stop marketing things that are not what they are? RISIII is post GWOT and in a configuration nobody used. Also your "MK12" is not a MK12 by any standard that exists.
Don't get me wrong, you guys make nice stuff I own, but your marketing department are lying fraudsters at this point. Just stop it. |

Is DD jumping the shark? GWOT with a RIS 3? I’m a DD fan, but this is a clear marketing cash grab that kind of makes me want to hide my DD’s so people don’t think I buy rifles from gimmicky companies.

Bingo, I haven't seen this being marketed as a clone of a gwot rifle, just a rifle being offered to veterans of it. |

I've seen RIII lowers for sale on Yeti Firearms' GunBroker account, even though DD does not sell lowers by themselves. You probably know this already, but one of the RIS II's only flaws is that due to its design, it's not easy to use with many types of gas blocks when it's paired with a mid-length barrel/gas system. I don't think that a MK12 gas block will work with a RIS II and mid-length barrel, for example, unless you remove the M203 hangers. |
