I've tried getting them via the website, email form, with no luck for a week.
Also, the phone only goes to VM. Anyone have another contact for faxon tech? Trying to get help with a possible issue on an 11.5 barrel. |

Some people have luck on Facebook when all else fails. They have a rep here you could send an DM to. @Faxon-Pat i believe

One of the reasons why I try to stay with an established well known company for my barrels, I am willing to pay extra for the customer service. With that being said I have a Faxon 11.5 Nitrided barrel for my duty carbine and it has performed well, it's even taken a few full auto sessions. I am happy with this barrel...

I was with mine too, until i started having poi shift issues that I dont get with my 14.5 or my LaRue 16

Have you sent an email? When you've called have you left a voicemail? When you went to the website was it during business hours? If so, did you use our live chat feature?
There is a multitude of ways to get ahold of us. Granted, some yield a faster response than others, but you will always receive a response. The only way you'll be certain to not get a response is by calling and not leaving a voicemail. |

I bought a Faxon barrel in November. Faxon sponsors some credible shows, and I did a lot of reading and checked out reviews. The general takeaway seemed to be that if there was an issue, they would take care of it. When my barrel arrived, it had one of the ugliest crowns I've ever seen on any barrel. Given that the crown is well understood to be a key element of a barrel's accuracy, I sent a photo of it to Faxon CS in early December. It took a week to get any kind of useful response, and they sent me a shipping label to get it back.
I shipped my barrel back to Faxon two months ago. The holidays went by. SHOT Show went by. Still hadn't heard anything. I've been trying to reach them, leaving voice mails on the CS line and sending emails, and have not gotten a response of any kind in a couple weeks of trying. I'd be OK just walking away and never doing business with them again, but I paid for a barrel, and they have it. At the very least, I'd like to get it back so I can fix it myself if they aren't going to do anything about it. Not sure what to do next. |

I had an issue with a barrel and called and left a voicemail. Cs called me next day, was johnny on the spot to try and help me. They have treated me well so far.

Ive had great experience with their CS. Currently theyre solving an issue with a product. Couldnt ask for more.

Apologies to kind of necro this thread but I was kind of hoping someone from Faxon might see this, I've experienced a lot of the same frustrations as OP trying to get my FX19 pistol fixed:
-Called several times, always just get a message that there are no agents available (yes I left a voicemail, never got a call back) -Filled out a contact form on the website -Sent e-mail to CS -E-mailed my dealer rep there (he never replied, not sure if he even works there anymore) -Sent a message on the Facebook page I finally heard back from Robert after almost a month of trying to get a hold of someone. Once I actually initiated conversation, it seemed to go pretty quickly, sent my pistol back. It's been out a month now, I sent an email over a week ago asking what the status is (again, tried calling, no one answers) and can't get a reply. |

View Quote @black_mantis I have seen some youtube vids they posted that they are currently moving i believe. This may be causing a delay. Still not a good excuse to ignore you. Funny how the faxon rep left and never came back to address anything. When Nate was with Faxon i bought some of their stuff, he was active here and informative. Never again after seeing countless issues like this and product issues frequently. There was a guy on TOS (trusted member that has been there a long time). He had a pencil barrel with issues and sent it in. They claimed it had over 5k rounds on it and wouldnt help. He had like 200 on it trying to figure out was was wrong. That was the nail in the coffin for me |

I ended up getting a hold of someone to ask about my FX19 after some week and a half after sending my initial e-mail asking for the status, several calls, leaving a voicemail, bothering them on their Facebook page...the guy I spoke to was very apologetic and said they weren't sure how they had missed my initial e-mail. To their credit, he did assure me someone would be looking at my pistol the day after we had our call, would fix it, and send it back. And they did in fact, look at it and send it back. Turns out the barrel was out of spec and causing the slide to bind up when returning to battery.
It's a shame because it really is a nice looking pistol (despite being a "Gucci Glock") and I believe for what you're getting, it really isn't absurdly priced. Once I got it back, I ran a box of 50 through it without a hiccup, which is an improvement considering I couldn't get through a single mag before. I really hope Faxon kind of gets their act together because they make nice looking stuff and I like the idea of supporting a smaller start up with good ideas, I just wish they handled their customer service a bit better as that really soured my relationship with this company. |

In the meantime, I had bought a Criterion barrel of similar configuration to build the rifle I wanted to build. It's beautiful, and I can recommend it. I had also tried a Faxon .300 BLK pistol barrel, which looked OK except for a burr in the gas port. It ended up being too short for my handguard. Sold it and bought a Wilson Combat barrel. It's also beautiful, and I can recommend it. I can't recommend Faxon's products, and won't be dealing with them again. The CS rep I dealt with was always pleasant once I managed to actually get ahold of him. I mostly have sympathy that he is doing the best he can in a crappy job being the customer-facing person for a company that can't seem to keep any kind of quality in its production. I'll be sticking with a level up in quality and price in the future. |

We were going through a bad time of not being able to respond quickly to people through most forms of communication, but we are on top of it now (Customer input was also a big help in correcting this so thank you for keeping on us to get a response). You should see more activity from both "Faxon-Rob" and I here as well as be able to get a response through all of our normal channels within a business day if not faster. I can't recommend Faxon's products, and won't be dealing with them again. The CS rep I dealt with was always pleasant once I managed to actually get ahold of him. Being on the front lines to bring up unacceptable things like this to both top management and our QC team is awesome and I feel I can really help make improvements to our processes and checks. Nobody is perfect, however, so when issues do arise we try to correct them as quickly as possible (even with the crazy demand keeping anything from even touching the shelves before it ships out). Thank you for sharing your experience! While I wish it had been better for you, we really appreciate the feedback as it can still help us improve and prevent problems or issues in the future. |

So is Faxion still even making AR barrels? All I ever seem to get emails about is gold or rainbow glock barrels, and now 10/22 barrels. I have a couple AR barrels that I'm pretty pleased with, but it seems like that's been abandoned.

Far from it! We are making more AR barrels than ever before! Unfortunately, there is still crazy demand that we are trying to catch up to. We are currently fulfilling open dealer orders before placing stock on our website so we recommend checking with dealers for available stock or backorder opportunities. The pistol barrels are produced on separate lines and have caught up a bit faster than AR barrels (that and we did not have any open orders for newly premiered items like the G43 and Sheild barrels). The 10/22 barrels are also exclusively available through our website, so there are no open dealer orders for them to fill.

Time to dig this one up. I've sent an email to Faxon directly, called and left a detailed message, and emailed two people who have posted in this forum. I've been waiting for an email, callback, anything for two full weeks. Noone seems to know what a normal wait time is to get a response. So I came here to see if I could get an answer.
edit 3/26/22- Still no response from Faxon. Three full weeks now. They have no presence here either. |

I've sent 2 emails this past week regarding a G19 barrel. To date, no response.

I am on week two with nothing other than an auto-reply acknowledgement email that they received my email.
UPDATE: I was finally contact in November, four months after repeated emails. They sent me a replacement barrel and a 35% discount code, but I hesitate to buy anything else Faxon. |
