Skilled Marksmanship: An American Tradition
You can’t write the story of America without including several chapters about the skill and bravery of our forefathers. On April 19, 1775, at Lexington and Concord, American colonists stood with muskets in hand and faced down the British forces that were trying to seize their arms. The colonists did it with grit, determination, and superior marksmanship. They were real marksmen: nobly and ably putting their skills on the line in pursuit of liberty. We are the descendants of those fearless men and women who earned our freedom on the battlefield. We honor their pursuit of liberty by passing along the skills and knowledge that aided them in securing it. Today’s Rifleman understands that owning and mastering a rifle is part of his/her American heritage. Whether you’re a new shooter or a seasoned marksman, Project Appleseed can help transform you from a person with a rifle into a principled and skilled Rifleman. https://appleseedinfo.org/ |

Where is the closest KD class to MN? Looks like all in state are traditional 25m (cf/ rf)?
Also same question for pistol clinics. |

Welcome. The pistol clinic that y’all offer, is that something for people new to guns or is it a good opportunity for people that know how to shoot already but need to brush up on fundamentals? Thanks.

Anywhere I can take kids to the pistol clinic?
Everywhere I've seen is 18 and over. Thanks |

Thanks View Quote Pistol Clinics We are pleased to offer Appleseed Pistol Clinics. Our pistol clinic is a fun challenge for everyone, even those who have qualified with pistols in other programs. The program is beneficial for folks who have no pistol experience or have some experience shooting pistols but want more instruction on use for personal defense. It can be offered on either indoor or outdoor ranges depending on location. This class focuses on defensive techniques such as rapid target acquisition and engaging multiple targets, but stops short of teaching drawing from the holster and firing. It’s a challenging course of fire and we think it’s a lot of fun. Although most locations permit pistols of any caliber, many shooters choose to bring a .22 caliber pistol for initial instruction and for practice. Of course, an Appleseed Pistol Clinic includes history. The history shared will include stories you won’t hear at traditional 25m and KD events. |

Just to clarify, when I see 18 and older for the Pistol Clinic offering, that's a range requirement, not an Appleseed requirement? |

The exception being a state law that requires one to be older. |

Glad y'all are here! Have been two times so far. Thoroughly enjoyed the instruction. Looking forward to another one.

Due to 'laws' we had to restrict kids at pistol events. Some states it's 18 and over and a few are 21 and over.
Yeah it sucks but that's the way it is. The traditional rifle events are open to kids though. Except in California. |

I attended an Apple Seed 25yd class here in NH a few years ago. Excellent instruction and also quite fun. It was good to see a bunch of kids there learning how to shoot.
I need to go to another one. |
